We're lucky enough to have a week of sunshine in a row this time in Rennes before the skies become cloudy again next week. Rennes, the city where we currently live and known as the capital of France's Brittany region, is raining a lot, just like London . Perhaps because in the Middle Ages, it was part of the British monarchy, some traces of the past are still present. By the way, get well soon for your cold. And much love to the little petal.

I'm not Japanese and I can barely speak Japanese. As an Indonesian living in France for almost 11 years, I admit that I sometimes tend to forget little details linked to my own culture. This is not to be unkind or disrespectful of my own culture. But when you live in another way of thinking, with another culture and another nationality, something naturally changes as be part of adaptation process, not to mention the fact that human beings are creatures of habit. And cultural belonging is a habit in itself.
