A little video on the completion of my DIY ultimate chop saw cart for the work shop to hold my EVO 360 saw. The main frame is made from 1 1/2" metal tubing, which just came back from powder coating. I need to finish building my material support system for shorter lengths of materiel. The supports slide from side to side for adjustment and can also pivot to support material being cut at an angle. Sorry I didn't get any video of the build itself as I just decided to make some KZbin videos.

I have that exact same drill press but I cant find the start capacitor for the motor. Ive cleaned the centrifugal switch and its working as it should. But I still have to spin it by hand to get the motor started. I dont see a start capacitor on yours either. I'm just stumped now.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I see you welded nuts to some sliding clamps. Are they 5/8" or 16mm? And do they grab in the fab-block holes or do you need to thread nuts on below? Thanks in advance - you do some awesome work! Subscribed after watching 2 minutes of your welding cart video! Love the powder coating! From a guy who's ridden bikes for over 6 decades!

Thank you!! If I remember correctly, they are 5/8" bolts welded to harbor freight clamps. I put a nut on the under side of the table. Some guys don't and some guys weld on just a solid rod and the side force when clamping down holds them in place!

@cuskit Just an FYI on the table.. after building the top, I cleaned the metal with acetone. Then I used a Krylon clear satin to paint the underside and sides, to keep them from rusting. It's worked well. Another time I knew it was going to sit for a month or two, so I hit the top with the same paint. They'll rust pretty quickly if you don't protect them. I do want to try a product called Sharkhide for the top.. just need to buy some.

Great Job! Inspires me to get back out into the shop. What did you use to pivot then support bracket under the saw? That is a great feature.

I have another plate welding in similar to the top plate, with a hole in the center and I use a big bolt for pivot and to hold the pivoting support to the cart. Hope that makes sense.

I think 1/4". It's from Weld Tables.
