The 5.7 V8 has variable displacement, it shifts down to 4 cyl mode under lighter loads. Our 2020 RAM can get better mileage, but still have the V8 power on demand.

@Snow Dog Vlogs Hey Jess think someone's Woo's are trying to tell you to stay with a Bigger SUV so they all can have room in it. Smaller SUV's with the little rubber band motors aren't as big in the back even with the seat down for 3 full grown puppers like the girls these days.

Jessica, get a Jeep Gladiator. It's still a Jeep, but it's a Jeep truck. And they're not that expensive, either. The cheapest of the Gladiators is the Sport starting at $38,775 brand new. It's just something to think about. You did mention a truck. Why not the best of both worlds?

Honestly, I had a 2000 Nissan frontier and I kept it until July 2020 of which I gave to my brother and he traded me his little Nissan versa hatchback which is a 2008 and I miss my truck and I wish I could afford to buy another one. And the only major thing that ever went wrong with my truck was ABS went out and now it was a lot of money to fix it, but not as much as the transmission would it cost like my previous truck did, it stop going in reverse one night at school. Thank God there was no tree in front of me. It must be nice to be able to afford to buy a vehicle every five years.

I would say something awesome like the Hellcat Trailhawk they have. Or a RAM 1500. Something with a big growling American V8!!! I’m more of a Chevy guy and I like the Silverado ZR2, but if y’all wanna stick with Fiat/Chrysler that’s cool. Get what you want obviously but even though you don’t think you need it anymore you will miss the raw HP. I definitely think you should get something with a V8 again!

My current Jeep has a V8 and we just don't need a V8 anymore since we don't pull. I am not a fan of the Chevy's I actually went and looked at some, and just wasn't a fan of anything I looked at. The Hellcat Trackhawk is insane, but I don't need it.

@@SnowDogsVlogs that’s right! I remember you saying the one you have now is the Hemi. Which is also an awesome engine! And yeah the Track Hawk is insane! As you can tell I love American muscle which even then I also love my 2005 turbo inline 6 Volvo XC90. Anyways… my cousin has the same Jeep you have (Grand Cherokee) but with the V6. It ain’t bad, it does the trick. My cousin loves it. But yeah if your done with V8s and you don’t mind the loss of power. Nothing wrong with a V6 model!
