The boat is for sure sweet ! Being commercially used, built etc. I know the hack job on the cutting / gel coat doesn't bother you much. And we all know how clients treat the boat. But hopefully Lattitude cleans things up if they want to really become a favorite. Between you , Mike from Reel Reports and a few others showing them off, they are going to have a good opportunity. Hopefully they recognize this and get things going a bit more smoother. If they are letting things slip through the cracks now I couldn't imagine with a full workload of higher volume and demand. Its not just in the aforementioned 1:56 and 2:07 mark. Also in the livewells and other spots. With that being said, their rigger seems to be legit ! Hopefully their fiberglass and gel coat crew can learn from them .

You know of anyone that builds a 20-22 foot custom hull similar to that one? I live up in wisconsin and fish green bay, and Lake Michigan as well as winnebago and wouldnt really need a 25. Price of fiberglass walleye boats seems like a custom build like that one in a 20-22 footer would be a fun project. Love the boat! Congrats

Thanks for sharing this, what performance are you getting with the 300 Yamaha ? I live in Jupiter and I have been to the LTB location back in February and I am back and forth / debating ordering on of these hulls. I would be dropping down from a 2895 Triton . I want something more economic :-) , And easier to trailer when we go to the keys for our Mini Season Vacations etc. I've been in a Older 25 Contender and I assume the ride is similar ? Please correct me if I am wrong.
4 жыл бұрын
With the single 300 Yamaha your top end is 51 with a cruising speed of 35mph @ 3mpg. This is the perfect boat for the Keys and yes they ride just like the 25 contender. Same Hull as the contender, seavee and whitewater. Best riding 25’ boat on the market

4 жыл бұрын
From the rigger or manufacturer . One of them . Not a big deal though. Coaming bolsters will cover them eventually
@mobeious4 жыл бұрын
@ knowing its there would be a big deal to me on a 100K+ boat. Would also make me question the build quality in other areas. From the videos you posted the shear lack of organization in there shop would have questioned me. When your mixing gelcoat in a arizona tea jug ... come on
4 жыл бұрын
No doubt. The overall quality of the boat is what I would call “commercial grade”. The finish on it is not as nearly as nice as say a seavee would be, which makes this boat a very affordable one to begin with. So little mistakes like that are whatever you know? Definitely a little irritating but not bad enough to say something.
@mobeious4 жыл бұрын
@ he quoted me 130k rigged with a 300. I know its not seevee or yellow fin but for a 130k single engine you can get alot more then commerical grade.

Nice boat but for a custom build they didnt even finish and fair all those hole that are in the gunnel cap. Not sure why they drilled all those holes or left them open but I would not have been happy to see holes just drilled in the gunnel cap.

That's probably pilot holes for cushions. Im more concerned about all storage compartments were not sanded and faired smooth it will be nightmare to clean. other then that build looks solid.

Bro the boat is great but how the hell are you gonna run charters in the Keys everyday with no Bimini Top??!! Are you crazy??? That would have been my FIRST requirement!!! You are gonna regret this major thing!!! You are gonna roast yourself AND your clients!! Believe me you are gonna be regretting not putting that in FIRST!!!! Don't matter how many bells and whistles are on the boat if you are broiling in the heat none of that shit matters😎
4 жыл бұрын
You have to remember that most of the fishing I will be doing is local (around the bridges) and backcountry. It's not going to be a full time offshore boat. Not saying I wont get a T-Top down the road but I want to go through next tarpon season (2021) first before I make a decision. There are a lot of low bridges in the keys and its necessary to not be restricted by height when fishing. Right now I can just barely fit under the BNM bridge and thats huge for me to be able to get through that bridge. The majority of Captains that operate similar boats have no top, only a small handful do.
@jayjohnson96684 жыл бұрын
