I like light to medium coverage. So I use Haus Labs foundation and concealer. And Merit bronzer. I am still trying different setting powders so I don't have a favorite yet

My all-time favorite pressed powder is the Charlotte Tilbury one. I haven't found one that is better. My fave loose powder is the Laura Mercier translucent setting powder. Tarte Amazonian clay blushes are my faves, and my fave setting spray is also the CT one. My fave concealers are the Nars Radiant Creamy for high-end and Maybelline Instant Age Rewind for drugstore. Tarte and Natasha Denona eyeshadow are my faves.

I continue to use the Nyx Can't Stop Won't Stop pressed powder. It's so good. I've hit pan twice already. The L'oreal serum foundation is another favorite. I've repurchased multiple times. L'oreal Lumi liquid blush in Dewy Worth It. Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso. L'oreal Infallible bronzer. And of course the All Nighter setting spray from Urban Decay. I've lost count on how many of those I've purchased. And Lash Paradise by L'oreal. All time favorite mascara. And i use the Nars creamy concealer in the shade Honey for my color corrector.

Omg I still have a trusty MG eyeshadow blending brush. It's the best eye blender I have and it's probably 8 years old lol. Some chipping in the wood handle but who cares it blends perfectly and is my go-to!

I think those were all good recommendations. I was watching a show on Netflix called Later Daters about people in their late 40's to early 70's who were getting back into dating. One of the women in her mid 60's mentioned her makeup making her wrinkles more visible. Maybe a primer would have helped. It wasn't until then that I realized I don't see a lot of makeup tutorials for issues like that or being done on people around that age range. But it's been an interesting show to watch. Btw, congratulations Marlena on your fragrance launch. I really was hoping that you'd get into that field one day.

One of the challenges in using influencer recommendations with respect to age is that most get Botox and fillers, medispa treatments and/or use tretinoin so they don’t really have wrinkles. I primer could help, but very hydrated skin is even more important. And less heavy coverage (not opaqueness, like light vs full coverage, but thinner consistency and fewer layers/products) always is better for mature skin especially in areas where there are wrinkles.

Hi Marlena - So many amazing picks. Many of these I will add to my wish list. I would love for House of Marsté to come out with a finishing powder comparable to the Lancôme Absolute in Peche. That powder was discontinued and I have never found one to hold a candle to it. I used to apply it with the Sonia G Buffer Pro and that made such a big difference and it gave such a smoothing effect and glow. Although I don’t use regular powder, I would also love to see you make a revolutionary powder that surpasses the Givenchy powder. That would certainly get everyone talking.

If you have sensitive skin, please beware - the Dior foundation stick is loaded with fragrance. My dry, rosacea-prone skin couldn't tolerate it. Love, love, love the YSL Loveshine in 44 Nude Lavalliere!!! Totally agree! Thanks for the video. So very informative!

Always check ingredients of products. Always ignore if Sephora says something is fragrance free 'cos it usually isn't, 'cos most people don't know just how much fragrance really is in products (essential oils, fruit or flower extracts, resin, some plants, chemical names you don't know etc.) also Sephora pretty frequently lists literal "Parfum" in the ingredients list as "fragrance free" which just wow, and finally, if it's Dior complexion, it's fragranced.

You have me addicted to the Makeup forever lip pencil. Omg you are so right about the color. Perfect payoff every time. Because I don’t wear a lot of makeup I am obsessed with mini palettes in particular the Natasha Denova minis are perfection. I’d forgotten about Tarte’s Lights, Camera, acton mascara. The color payoff and lift is definitely worth it but my lashes tangle and so I did switch back to They’re real mascara. It combs through my lashes. I could definitely use both though. I can get in closer with Tarte’s spoolie.

Combined with shimmers from single shadows or eyewear from Victoria Beckham as liner, i want it more and more easy. Dry sensitive skin here, 54 years, love the Chanel Sublimage foundation and concealer here. Stopped setting sprays, well, almost, only when it's 30 degr. I buy L’Oreal’s tubing mascara called Double Extend - it has two sides - primer and mascara. It goes on great, no raccoon eyes and washes off easily with warm water and a face cloth.

We have a lot of the same taste or I've been buying your recommendations 😊. But they are great. I have dry skin and even drier lips. The clay skin lip balm works great but I did just purchase the city lips oil for night and I'll use the oil let that soak in then layer the clay skin. Fenty drew drop stick is great, but also have Armani. One thing I need is the Terri Moon shadows, they are beautiful on you. Thanks for your honest opinion.

Regarding the terra moon eyeshadows, you mentioned in the video that you would leave maybe your top five shades in the description so that we could reference that. I didn’t see them there, but I would love to know those because I have been to their site before, and I have looked through their shadows, and there are so many pretty colors that it was really hard to narrow it down, so I ultimately abandoned my cart 😔. I wanted to love the maybelline fit me soooo bad, but that denatured alcohol will get you if you have sensitive skin. Looks beautiful, but after a couple uses you will start to see the breakouts 🫠

I still have all your highlighters and use them to this DAY. Definately expired, but i try to keep them clean. That is what i'd keep repurchasing. Can't find anything like them, im so glad i went broke for a little and bought them all. Everything else is just too blingy and not a beautiful skin like duochrome sheen on the skin that doesn't emphasise my texture - almost as if i had that fish skin scale sheen if you know what i mean.

I love the nars light reflecting foundation, it never does me wrong. Anyone have any tips on how to help prevent makeup transferring to clothes? I’ve tried so many things but nothing seems to do it. I hugged my BF and got makeup on his shirt, I was so embarrassed 😂
