Congrats on the Nuage! I mixed on one for a while at my old job and it was such a fantastic control surface. The integration with Nuendo was so tight, it honestly felt like mixing/editing on a digital console with DAW functionality. Pretty awesome piece of kit!

Your studio is growing MAN! So happy for you! Tip: get some velcro cable ties to keep your stuff tightly organized(let some slack in the ends), and some numbered and colored(maybe even printed for the thicker ones) wire/cable markers, and tag both ends, so you can track what is going into what.

for optimized performance of that gigabyte graphics card you should have installed it in the top most slot. there is only 8 lanes connected to it now when there could be 16.

For me, getting a mixing console was actually surprisingly easy - I had a Mackie 32x8 almost fall into my lap, since it was (is) in need of some substantial electronics repair. The hard part is that its got 32 inputs with their own direct outs, plus 16 outputs (that I use) with their own inserts, which means, to use it how I want, I need an audio interface with 48 each in/out. Technically speaking, it's perfectly do-able, I'm just not ready to drop $2kUSD to get the requisite hardware, seeing as how my console isn't doing anything right now but looking pretty in my office. This video is aspirational content. This, and the whole new studio series, reminds me why I bought a console in the first place: One step at a time, until I've got everything I need.

Congrats!! It looks great!! A suggestion. Put your units that are on the dolly into a rack. It will take up some space but it will be solid and easier to work on. I have two in my video production studio office with a million cables.
