Good job! I had a leaf spring car that I replaced the 2nd leaf with a 3/4 truck leaf. It was longer in the from half so that there was no longer just 1 leaf where it connected to the frame. Worked great!

Nice fix, is there a change drive shaft and rear end still moving around, that it's putting the trans in a bind causing that trans noise??

@@Bowman210 Well what brand a person uses are up to them. Such as Eibach or H&R springs for example they do virtually the same thing, but some prefer one over the other… 😁

We used to put an extra leaf in the springs and clamp them, and/or use a pinion snubber

You gents, have put on a clinic of trouble shooting here.. You left yer pride at the door, and just plowed thru each weak point, you could identify and played a thorough, if not expensive game of "Whack a Mole" on each sub system here.. Those caltracs worked wonders on beans, I set mine at a half turn and Beans liked it , I got the regular ride height one's and ended up with plenty of room but I was worried at first because beans sits a lil low

🔔😎 For rubber bushings that do not have an outer shell, just heat the outside with a torch and they'll melt and just slide out with a gentle push. Clean the hole like you did, you're good.👍

You need to put a Holly Sniper system on it.

The motor mounts need to tilt back a little over 1 degree and your trans noise will go away

By chance, was the index the bellhousing checked on greyghost? I've never done it, but indexing may be the solution for fourth gear noise. Info from Roadkillcustoms: "Indexing your bell housing can help PREVENT Premature pilot and input shaft bearing FAILURE." Best wishes, GLWB

Can you rotate the driveshaft 1/4 turn and check the balance first like the fox bodies?

By rotate I mean remove the bolts, rotate, and rebolt. Not just turn😂.
