This video tells the procedure of enlisting drone. Refer to this point given on digital sky website "Kindly note that ALL unmanned aircraft need to be enlisted. For ample clarity, these include models, prototypes, toys, RC aircraft, autonomous and remotely piloted aircraft systems etc.". That means even Mavic Mini needs to be enlisted. I did it for my mavic mini. And Enlisting and REGISTERING the drone are two different procedure, I confirm this with government via email. They said that As of now all drone in India has to be enlisted.So if you have micro drone, then you have to register it separately in future.

There is some confusion as DJI is not listed as manufacturer in DGCA policy . The process is very much confusing. Even enlistment page says, Having DAN and OAN doesn't enable you to fly it legally. Its just for govt. Record purposes.

The new registration process wants (All) drones to be registered including Mavic mini.drones in nano category dont need to be registered earlier but now it need to be registered. moreover Dji mavic mini is more than 250 gms with propeller guards and its clearly mentioned in the site u have to give weight in kgs considering all payloads.

I have a been a part of the film industry and film production for the longest time. You always need a special permission to fly a drone in india. Some locations in India and in the world do not give you permission to fly a drone specially if its a army or navy base or some other reason. Also if your drone is under 250 gm you can fly it without a permission for example the mavic mini but still you need to know the law of the city or country befor flying any kind of drone. For example even the mavic mini you can not fly it above a distance or height of 200 meters I guess. Any ways thanks for this informational video. 🤘. Keep up the good work . Love your videos.

When you travel to different countries, do we need to register in each of those countries? Or go around with Mavic Mini which is 249g. If that works then it is better to buy Mini, else a Mavic Air 2 should be good I guess.
