for me one of the best MDB song. Been listening to them since 1990 and they always know how to make me forget the form of my sins.

In my opinion also the best track on the album. I really like the way the guitars sound troughout the whole album, vintage MDB.

I’m unaware of a response From my errant dark red soul Too deep to be spoken aloud I bury a word right in my heart Frost etched the tall windows I have been cold for a long time Borne upon winters shoulders There are wolves here, many of them I am staggered at their hatred of me I lie in complete fear I call the moths to tend me I forget the form of my sins And drained of motion, the air itself avoids me And void of notion, unable to perceive Mouth barely open, almost fearing to breathe And there is no other sound at all Just there, to the left, his shadow rose I always knew he was coming Takes the vacant chair beside me With golden hands he moved the hair from my face

just another amazing song , the pure sound of darkness soul looking for true emotional sonority's words; The are the Lords of Romance , the chosen one to make your pain coming out away from yourself ...

Just bought the album yesterday. It is MUCH better than their last one or "Evinta". But not on the same level as "A Line of..", let alone "Turn Loose". This song is a true gem! So extremely awesome. But it is also by far the best song on the album, some others are decent as well, but there are also some very crappy tracks on the record.

Since As the flower... MDB are touching my soul with most of their releases. SInce "The crown of sympathy" they definetly are the benchmark for doom. and from time to time, they are even more intense than usual... as this song prooves. Not my favourite MDB (which is Turn loose...) but one of their best!

How could you sing such amazing depressing songs unless you felt the depression yourself. I believe Aaron suffers like I do, such amazing lyrics, when I do sing, I sing amazing depressed verses as well. Yet I can't remember them, I know they was perfect when I should have recorded them. My point is I know I wouldn't have been able to sing such things without true depression, and Aaron's lyrics are so amazingly perfect, he has to be always going through true depression. A true artist he is.

There are wolves here, many of them. This song would fit nicely on the Game of Thrones soundtrack.

Yeah, the lyrics of this song definitely make me think of Cersei in the upcoming season 7. It could almost be from her POV... Winter has fallen on king's landing and she's become an insane, bloodthirsty tyrant; paranoid, afraid everyone's out to get her. Jon Snow's army is at the gates of King's Landing, and all hell is about to break loose... At the end, her and Jaime are reunited after some time apart - He brushes the hair out of her face with his golden hand, pulls her into an embrace, gives her one last kiss... And then, plunges a dagger into her heart
