this is one of those groups that will forever be in my music library.. i don't listen to them on a daily basis anymore but when I do listen I can't stop at one song.. so many musical masterpieces.. Opeth is another group like that.. brilliant songwriting in the late 90s and 2000s.. these groups don't churn out hits.. they're an acquired taste for most.. but once you aquire it the music never becomes stale..it truly is art

Вы правы! Первый раз я их услышал в 1994 году, альбом 1993 г. Отпусти лебедей на свободу. Считаю, что это их лучший альбом. Как они, никто в стиле дум не передают состояние депрессии. Может только самый первый альбом группы Shape of Despair.

Timeless... LYRICS : You can't expect to see him and survive You'll swallow his tongue of thorns His mouth, dripping with flies In his glorious kingdom of fire But I believe he wept I will make them all lie down Down where hope lies dying With lust, you're kicking mankind to death We live and die without hope You tramp us down in a river of death As I stand here now, my heart is black I don't want to die a lonely man This is a weary hour This is a weary hour

+Unni Barchamua ... My Dying Bride is an excellent band!! Each of their album is a masterpiece. Aaron's voice in conjunction with the band's music gives a perfect result. There are a lot of their old songs that have become my favorites and I still listen to them even now...!! Their last album ''Feel the Misery'' is great!! The title track '''Feel the Misery'' from the album...is enchanting!!

This video is one of the earliest and still the best. Later videos are more generic. As for the song, yes it is much longer then video clip. They used to do this on the early albums - long pieces that fall out of the common song structure. I don't know how to put it in better words, hope you understand. It's a pity that they don't do it anymore. I came to love "evinta" because the whole album falls out of usual stuff. I'd like them to mix evinta-style with traditional heavy songs on new album. But almost 0% that it will happen.

We are born alone and we die alone and in mad journey called life we suffer, finding and losing love, finding and losing ourselves, finding and losing hope. Fragile mind is lost in cruel universe that created infinited mind in finished form conscious of it's end. We are doomed to suffer, let us embrace it. lets do not hide from it like cowardy mankind. I say yes to suffering, I say yes to consciousness of existence. It's the only way to be, it's the only way go.

This is one of my favorite songs ever, (and I will do my best to push this over 1 million views) but they should have filmed a full length video first, (at least until the band stops playing) and then edited it under 5 minutes later (for MTV or whatever this was for). The beginning of the song is chopped up pretty bad, and the end is so abrupt compared to the original... but at least the middle is still beautiful.
