keane played this game 2 days ago, SINCE THEN, there has been a B-patch (hotfix) where they among other things, nerfed Samira by 5 ad at 1 star (samira seems to however be doing well with shojin and bluebuff (from watching streams, not personally played)/editor.

As an FYI to anyone looking to play Samira: the reason why you build BB, GA, BT is because the goal of Samira reroll is to maximize the damage dealt by Naafiri’s Darkin Dagger. Putting just damage items on Samira is weaker than a full defensive Samira that spam casts since with full damage she does ~400, but Darkin alone can do upwards of 600 a cast. With BB you’re spam casting 600 damage. The items aren’t good outside of this context though (besides maybe BB) which is why they look bad in stats.

thing is it is tipycally played with tf and you have to roll for nafiri and swain 3, if you get an uber tank swain 3 with stoneplate, redemption and claw/bramble, they get stuck on swain for so long that naafiri doesnt die early and its best to run ie gs on samira.

I have seen people play BB, GS, BT/HOJ/GB aswell.. At least when every lobby had 3 people who played 6 bruisers.

no u still play it like described. Samira then still clutches out a lot of rounds, due to proper positioning of the other units. U only ever wanna not do this basically if u get a morde early to itemize, but even then. Also, u purposely let naafiri die early to give samira the darkin blade aswell.@@maxrodriguez4261

There is an argument for that for sure, but nafiri is so much more important to this comp, and so is Econ. Him selling his warwicks allowed him to make 10 and Samira rr needs early Econ so you can win streak stage 3 and streak into 7 noxus. So I think he made the right choice but honestly it’s a close call
