Keep a heavy duty nail in that kit. You can punch a hole in the upper part of the first wall of the waterbottle to vent if you needed to boil water in it.

I think you have a great bag ! Only sorry to be pedantic but you titled your video my EDC loadout ? Am i to understand you carry this bag full of stuff with you ? How far do you walk with this extensive load ? Or is it mainly living in a vehicle as a sort of emergency bag ? I am jealous of your typhoon bag as a small day to day bag . Only you have it loaded to the point all that extra add ons makes me think maybe a bigger bag ? But then again if it mainly lives in an office or car i get it . Only your video came up when i typed into KZbin ' Every Day Carry ' . Hope you don't mind my questions . As i live in Scotland and things are a bit different here , absolutely no pistols or even knives that lock or anything that could be described as a weapon. Your video was very professional and clear . Tks greetings from Scotland.

Nope don't mind at all. I do carry this bag every day to and from work. It goes in the office in the morning and leaves with me at the end of the day. If I'm on my boat fishing, this bag is with me. However, say I stop by at a store or a place of business, this bag is left in my vehicle. Helps avoid some potential headaches, due to the "appearance" of the bag. This is my EDC. My SHTF / BOB / INCH bag is an Eberlestock G4 Operators pack. I also have a Maxpedition Falcon III as my vehicle pack. I am very fortunate to be able to have the gear that I have and I use it and enjoy it immensely. In my camper (travel trailer) there lives a Maxpedition Falcon II. So yes there are times when I have in my possession my EDC, my Falcon III and my Falcon II. I am not a fan of pulling gear from one bag to put in another. And yes I understand the Gray man look to just fit in. My opinion on that is that just fitting in makes you a victim or easy pray from the herd. If you have the gear and know what you're doing with it you'll be a survivor. This I can attest to as I see and deal with victims of one thing or another and have for the past 34 years.

@@outdoordetective Thanks for that comprehensive reply . Great stuff. I can see the value in not swapping stuff from bag to bag . I guess I am more of a minimalist. Keep on enjoying what you do. Tks again .

Will the sawyer mini fit in the pouch on the right side under the multitool/flashlight pouch?
@outdoordetective4 жыл бұрын
I would say yes if put in at an angle. However I tried looking up the dimensions on the Sawyer website and unfortunately they don't describe the dimensions of the unit itself. So i'm kind of guessing. The flashlight you see in the video does fit at an angle in the lower pouch.

That is an impressive assortment. How much does the entire pack weigh when fully loaded? Thanks for posting the video.

Great question Bob, I never gave the weight any consideration. Just weighed it in at 21.4 pounds
