Beautiful hair and lady.... i say, do whatever makes you happy. It is very wise that you have asked for other's input and taking all view points under consideration because locking is a semi permanent decision. Best of luck & keep those helpful videos coming 👍🏾

I love my loose hair and even though it is long I don't keep it in twists. I grew it out wearing it loose in a WnG so I continue to do that. On occasion, I wear a bun, goddess braids, or updo but 90% of the time I wear it loose. It is understandable that you might want to lock your hair. Everyone is different and although I love your loose hair it's you who has to take care of it and love it.

Yeah my hair can never "wash and go" I'd be asking for a tangle mess. Thanks for your input,😘

@@nothandondlovuraw7388 Awe sorry. I understand and hear so many ladies say that. I guess I kind of learned how when mine was shoulder length and figured it out. Now that it's hip length it's very easy with minimal tangles or shedding. I did get a lot of tangles in the beggining.

Welcome back 🙂. Your skin is amazing! Please do an in-depth video on the tea because I want to see if you put some kind of preservative . Cos I need to know how to avoid bacteria from the spray on the scalp. Aww well if you’re sure then I’m gonna miss your hair cos dreadlocks Eish - they’re a real commitment . The way you will do your hair don’t your think it will lock and you won’t be able to untwist it to refresh your hair?
@nothandondlovuraw73882 жыл бұрын
Hello and thanks for watching, I'm still so unsure 🙈🙈I've had my hair for so long and it's always in twists I feel like I've almost the commitment to one type of style. Neem and cloves for example are antibacterial so I rely on that and I also keep it I the fridge. It also doesn't last long so best to not make a lot, I make about 250ml for both my daughter and I.

I have done a few retwists and it went OK, I think as long as I keep it up each strand might be able to loc by itself, we will see with time😝

I like your hair just the way it is. I subscribed because its inspiring to see your hair at that length and the way in which you care for it. If you lock it, I don't think I will follow the videos that much because I won't be able to relate. But do what you think is best for you.

Please post a video on new henna method. And please keep us informed on your lock journey. I wore locks for 10 years but was not able to avoid build up. I want to try sister locks and use herbs instead of commercial products. I like to think of each sister lock as a thicker strand of hair. So all the styles my hair was too thin for, I will be able to wear.😂
@nothandondlovuraw73882 жыл бұрын
Hello Marcia and thanks for watching, listen I'm so scared of the build up, if it were not for that I would have locked a long time ago, so I will let you know how that goes. My hair is just to much to wear lose so hopefully this will be my solution.

I'm confused 🤔. How is it locs if your re-twisting the twist every month?
@nothandondlovuraw73882 жыл бұрын
Hi there, it's experimental really, I'm hoping that each strand in the twist will loc individually. So what I'm doing is not detangling, just unwitting and then twisting back just to prevent the 2 strands from marrying
@simplyandoime73442 жыл бұрын
@@nothandondlovuraw7388 Oh I see...I do that also because I don't want to fully detangle my hair to the t if it's not on wash-day. Finding a way to minimize the manipulation of my strands was a dream come true. I've switched to medium braids a month ago and I am loving it so far.
