My ego is protesting against my growth!

As I continue to grow, my future seems more and more uncertain. My ego with its conditioning is now protesting loudly! But that’s okay. It’s just trying to keep me safe. How can the ego’s desire for my safety be reconciled with awakening and growth? I’m not sure yet, but I suspect I will find out.

While I am listening I am thinking that the programming within us is so profound - people with existing safety and without existing real safety (money etc) feel same anxiety, same fear.

I have learned to go beyond knowing to experiencing that I am one with all by doing Rupert Spira's meditations. He has free meditation on his website. And also a lot on KZbin. You can ask them which meditation you can buy or get for free (they are one or two though) which teaches one to become one with everything. He has also beautiful video "Discovering What Fear is Made Of".
