This happened to me too, I caught covid one week before my egg retrieval. Had to cancel that cycle, and re-order all the meds I had used, essentially losing thousands of dollars in medications. Eventually did my egg retrieval the next cycle and it was successful, so there's hope! You made the right choice in waiting for your body to be healthy and ready for your little Nemo 2.0, you got this!

Larry is so lucky to be okay- my mom was 65 and “had bad allergies” as she described it on this past Easter. Then she died of Covid April 24. She suddenly fell weak and ended up in the ICU and ultimately on life support. It happened so random and so fast. It’s wild 😢

@@jenniferw1595 it’s not easy! My biggest fear was watching her suffocate when they removed her from the vent but when I say that her last breaths were peaceful- they truly were. It was a blessing for them to be. Praying for your family!!!

Its a very good thing you rescheduled your embryo transfer girl. I got pregnant with my 5th baby end of october of 2023. End of november we all got very sick with covid and it was very hard on my body. Well long story short at 19 weeks i lost the baby due to cord issues and low amniotic fluid. The doctors kept asking if i had been sick at all and i said yes at around 1 month pregnant i had covid. They both said the first 8 weeks is the most crucial for development and thats probably why i lost the baby. Its soooo good that you are waiting. You did the right thing!❤

Hi Mindy , larry and liam , yes i totally agree with divine timing and how things happen for a reason , last December 2023 after about 5 months of being so unwell , vomiting . Nausea , fatigue , i honestly could not keep anything down , finally after a week in hospital , i was diagnosed with multiple myeloma ) blood cancer . Oncology wanted to start chemotherapy straight away , i asked for that month as i had family and my grandson so i wanted to enjoy Christmas . Family friends were not happy with me ,waiting , but i just had this feeling ( i do not know why , to wait , well in that month of waiting , my kidney function came back to normal , a lot of my blood work started to reset itself , as i was on a lot pf antibiotics for infection , doctor were impressed , and here i am nearly 7 months later , doctor just monitoring , no treatment as yet as i am doing so well , i was lucky early stage and contained in my bone marrow , so i have been enjoying life , and feeling great , if i had not requested waiting , i would have never known , my body could heal like that , sorry long story , as you stated Mindy all in gods hands . And waiting i am sure , you will have another gorgeous baby , all about timing and while we are disappointed or why no treatment it was actually all for the best ; get well soon ❤❤

This isn’t the same thing but I recently had surgery canceled due to insurance issues and it was such a huge bummer since I’ve bee struggling with my health and this surgery was supposed to help. I had the same thought of “maybe something was going to happen that day and God protected me”. I hope you can get this done soon!! Sending you love!

I figured, by the way you looked at the end of the last vlog that it wasn't good news, but, at the same time, that it was some kind of missfortune. But when you said Larry was going to be on this one, I got puzzled and a little concerned. I like that way you look at this, that it may have prevented something more serious. Also, don't beat yourselves up because of going to Universal. You could've gotten sick just by going to the grouceries's shop. It's anywhere, so... And I agree that it's just a delay of 3 weeks. it's not ideal, but could be worse. Glad to know Larry and Liam are feeling better and hope that you, Mindy, get better soon and healthier than ever to carry on with this beautiful journey! I always felt good about this IVF round, but I must confess something felt a bit off as the transfer was getting closer. Now I understand! 🙂 But, after this, I think things are going to move out smoothely.

What post Covid is, after I got Covid and was nearly at the end of it I got this swallowing issues that lasted for over a few weeks with the help of a few Doctors and specialists I was able to overcome everything although throughout all of this I lost 15 pounds. This is what my Doctor said is what he described as post Covid to me. Thankfully it all worked itself out in the end and I’m doing 100% better these days. I hope you have a lovely weekend. 😊

I got pregnant last June and lost my baby at 11 weeks. It’s been the worst thing that’s ever happened to me and the hardest journey to navigate. Even now almost a year since I found out I was pregnant, it’s a journey every day but we never give up! I haven’t gotten pregnant since and that’s been hard too but everyone’s journeys are different.

My lil man got covid when he was 1 and started having seizures in my arms at hospital when his fever shot up..ugh and what was crazy the man who checked us in the hospital started having seizures right before my son did! Checked us in then fell to floor. They say covid did it but it can be passed down ( febib seizures). Thank Goodness Liam didnt!! Wishing you all a fast recovery. Try not to blame yourself.

Hopefully it leaves soon! I don’t know how we would have functioned with Covid and have a toddler/baby. My husband and I both got it together and we were in and out of sleep it felt like 24/7. Thankfully our kids were 9 and 11. I got up to make dinner and had sandwiches/hotdogs/etc. they could grab for lunch. So thankful our family brought lots of breakfast things and snacks they could get into anytime.

When I had covid I was in bed with just over all ick feeling and I had the absolute worst headache I've ever experienced and something funny with my vision I kept getting flashes of light and blurry vision. 0 stars. I don't reccomend 😂

I know your pain seeing Liam with covid and rsv. Our daughter is 4 now and she had both of those when she was 3 it was so sad to see her sick like that. I felt so happy when she got better. I had a miscarriage in 2022 at 8 weeks along we were very upset and I was scared to try again. We ended up trying again and we had our rainbow baby on Jan. 31st 2024 beautiful healthy baby boy! Oh dear that sucks. On the bright at least Liam is doing well. The COVID and RSV will help boost his immune system which is needed for children. My almost two year old, once got the whole family sick except his dad and i with a stomach bug.
