Hey Brian! Go for the open day! If they like you, they will wait for you to have the photos ready. And worst case scenario, at least you saw how it is more or less, you got a bit of experience with the process. My advice is still go! And if you get to the final interview, just bring your photos then. The final interview will never be on the same day as the open day. So you will still have a bit of time! Best of luck!! Heey! So sorry, I only saw your comment now! I hope everything went well with your interview! I'll answer the question in case other people have the same type of inquiry: You don't need to bring any diplomas or certificates on the interview day. Only your Cv and maybe photos. All the documents will be requested after you pass the final interview, and they will tell you exactly what they need. I hope this helps, Best of luck!!

Hi Carla! Their is an open day coming soon near my city. Do you know if they still require photos now the way they did so many years ago? I just notice that on the requirement for open day,it doesnt necessarily say to bring photos other than the one on your CV

Hey Carla! I'm going to the Open Day tomorrow :) I don't have any pictures of me either, I hope it won't be a problem as it wasn't for you hahah Aside from that, on the current Emirates Open Day website, it only specifies to bring a digital copy of resume, passport/ID, and education diploma. They specify 'digital' which makes me think, how do they get it from me? Do I airdrop it to them at the Open Day or is it better to have it physical even if the website doesn't mention it?

Heey! Sorry for the late reply! Once you finish your training in Dubai you will have to live there. Emirates only has base in Dubai, and from there you fly to other countries, but you can only live in Dubai. 😊

Hey Ramonara! When I applied, between the interview and the golden call it was about 10 days. And then, until I left to Dubai it was about 1 month. But this was because I had a job and I had to quit. Nowadays, if you're available to start right away, the process is a bit faster. I know people that left in 2 weeks after they had the interview. I hope this helps and good luck! 🤩

Heeey! Sorry for the late reply! Thanks a lot for the nice words, I'm happy I can inspire some people! As for your question, yes, they pay for everything after you get the golden call. They make all the arrangements for you to reach Dubai and once you're there they take care of the visa arrangements and provide accommodation and transportation for you to go to training and then for flights. I hope this helps and don't be scared, just apply like it's any other job and go after your dream!! 🤩

I’d like to ask. Was there any instances where someone was selected or atleast was let to attend the openday steps if he or she didnt have exactly customer service experience. Or even if they did its not like hospitality or for a longer period of time? Can you emphazise pn what is considered more costomer service on emirates scale? Bcuz I have worked in clothing stores or shops but I doubt that is the type of customer service emirate or cabin crew in general are looking for. Can you help my confusion😅

Hey! I have heard of people that had no customer service experience and they still got hired. So if they really like you, they might overlook this rule. However, customer service experience is considered anything that has to do with you interacting with a customer. Working in clothing stores or shops falls perfectly into the category of "customer service", so I wouldn't worry about that. Also, the period of time is not really relevant. On the website they mention at least 1 year, but when I joined I only had 6 months of working in a hotel, as receptionist, and I still got hired. So I would say go for it, because you do qualify with your experience!! Good luck! 🥰

Thank you so much for replying. I was intended to attend open days but last minute I realised I’m not vaccinated (covid 19) and dont plan to get vaccinated in the near future either. That is most probably a huge problem. Right? Do emirate REQUIRE their cabin crew to be vaccinated? I’ve heard that if you take responsibility and pay for frequent pcr test from ur own pocket then u could work under them without the vaccine. But i’ not sure. Do u have any info regading this? Can I attend open day? Will i be eliminated right off the bat? What is the latest requirements for emirate vaccination for crew members? I’m so sorry for bombarding you with questions and I hope you wont get annoyed. You seem knowledgable and truly wanna help thats why I deared to ask. Thank you again, have a nice day!

@@mubdimim9176 no worries! I’m happy to help if I can!! As far as I know, it’s a requirement to be vaccinated in order to be hired. There used to be a rule that you can take responsibility and do PCRs before every flight, but that was only for crew that was already flying and now not even for them is available anymore. So yeah, unfortunately I don’t think they would consider you if you are not vaccinated. I’m sorry! 😔

Hi Magina! Sure! For your interview I suggest to wear a black skirt (pencil type that is knee length), a white (or any light color) shirt and a black jacket. High heel shoes (stiletto style) but not too high, just enough to still be comfortable. For your hair, a low bun would be great, or if you have short hair, just make sure it is neat and not in your face. Make sure your nails are not too long and you have a nude color nail polish, or red. And that's about it! 😄 Good luck! 🍀

Just to avoid any confusion where they see the photos and think you’re still wearing the braves and reject your application just for that, because it’s not allowed to wear it while working for Emirates ☺️

Hey! I'm sorry you didn't pass but I'm happy you're not giving up. The official rule is to wait 6 months, but since you only reached the 2nd exercise, you can easily apply again without waiting 6 months. This rule is usually for people that make it to the final interview and then don't pass that one. I hope this helps and Good luck!! 🥰

Hi! Yes, there could be other reasons, such as your Image and Uniform standards (if your hair color is not up to standards, if they discover you have any visible tattoos, etc.). Also, they are very particular about punctuality. If you are late for your classes on a regular basis, they might send you home. However, it’s very rare that these things happen. Normally they give you another chance and they understand this is an adaptation period for you. You just have to not cross the line. Good luck! 🍀

Hey Tuyet! They make you lift your arm and pass the mark of 2.12m. You can be on your tiptoes, but you need to pass that line with at least one finger, not just touch it. I hope this helps! 🤗

Hey Abdo! Thanks a lot for watching! To be honest, I'm not sure. Emirates doesn't officially have an age limit, but I haven't heard of people getting hired above 35. But, I would still try my luck! There's no harm in trying! :)

Hi Megha! Yes, you should definitely mention this. Even though it is not customer service experience per se, but it shows your organizational skills, ability to work as part of a team, interaction with lots of people and so on. So yeah, it's definitely a plus and you should include it in your CV. Also, prepare to be asked about this experience with examples. Hope this helps and I wish you the best of luck! 🍀🤗

Hey! You can apply on the website and from there they will guide you. They will either let you know whenever they plan to come to your country, or they will tell you whenever they go to a country that is close to you, so you can travel there. Hey Pabasaraa! On the Emirates website they mention that al least one year of customer service experience is required. However, I did not have on year, and I also know some people who didn{t have any customer service experience and they got hired. So if they really like you, you might still get the job, even without the experience. ☺

You shouldn't be scared or feel overwhelmed by the process. You just need to take the first step and apply! @@kvtr93 Hey! Yeah, that's actually a very good idea, to go to an open day in another city. Your French accent should not be a problem. As long as you can have a conversation in English, you'll be fine. I actually met a lot of French people, cabin crew, that had a very strong French accent and they still got hired. So don't worry! 😃

@@kvtr93 Men might have priority sometimes, because there is always too many women. And it is mandatory on every flight to have minimum 1 male crew. So they need male crew and that might actually help you! You English level, if you want to improve it, I recommend to watch movies in English, with English subtitles. That helped me a lot. And there is also Duolingo app that helps! ☺

Hi Ismail! I couldn’t tell you exactly why there is no response from Emirates, but my advice is to keep trying! Sometimes, when hiring, Emirates has a certain target as to what people they should hire (in terms of male/female, nationality, languages spoken etc). Sometimes it’s not about you, you could be perfect for the job, but for example, they only need females for now, or they only need Japanese speakers. So this could be a reason. Again, I couldn’t know for sure, but don’t lose hope and keep trying. I know people that applied 10-12 times before they got the job, so if you really want it, don’t give up! I wish you the best of luck and if you have any other questions, I’m here! ☺️

So sorry, I just saw your comment 😔 Yes, you can apply from anywhere, as long as they announced an Open Day or Assessment Day in your country/city or if you’re able to travel somewhere else where they are recruiting. As for fees, there is none. You don’t have to pay anything to apply or go for an Open Day or Assessment Day ☺️

Heey! Sorry for the late reply! A good level of English in one of the requirements, and once you get the job, you will have to speak English on a daily basis. So my advice would be to practice a bit more before applying. Watch some movies in English with subtitles, or Duolingo is also a good option. Good luck!! ☺

They require some experience when you go for the interview, but there are cases where if they really like you, they will hire you even without any experience. Hey Tasha! You are allowed to have one earring in each ear. Any other visible piercings are not allowed (ears, nose, eyebrow, lips). You can wear them on your days off, but will have to remove them every time you go on a flight. Hope this helps! 😄
