Sadly, Daisy passed away in November 2020.
She was the best dog one could ever hope for, and her happy go-lucky self will be greatly missed. We feel very fortunate to have shared 15,5 years with her

Daisy so reminds me our 4 black English Cocker Spaniels who are now 1-1/2 years old and their beautiful Mom. We love the breed and understand entirely the phrase 'the merry cocker'. Loyal dogs who wish only to please. Love the funny way they always circle back to their "human", the way they "sit" at your feet but can barely contain their excitement at being alive. They are dogs to love for life each stage followed by another equally wonderful one-the real constant is the affection they share.

All this reminds me of the puppy that came into my family's life more than 10 years ago and how that puppy grew as I grew, then stopped growing as I kept growing. Kids grow up and may stop being friends as they get older, but not a single day went by - puberty angst and all - that I didn't play or cuddle with my family's cocker spaniel. Even after I found out about girls! Although she's no longer here, I wouldn't have it any other way. Those were enriching years that made my heart full.

I'm crying my eyes out right now. We had a black cocker spanial named Peppy that we had to put down because of medical problems. That was maybe a year ago and I still cant get over it. She was the best dog I ever had or ever will have.

My family and I watched this video around 2010 shortly after we got a black american cocker spaniel just like Daisy named Quin. Quin is turning 12 next month but we learned on Wednesday that she might have a tumor inside her eye that could be cancerous. She's an incredibly anxious dog and taking her to the vet is a huge ordeal for her so my mother and sister have decided that its best to not put her through the removal of her eye and chemo and the stress that would come with it so we're hoping that the tumor is benign or that it just won't spread. I'm so happy I found this video back then, it put the idea in my head to constantly take photos and videos of Quin and now even though she may leave us soon we have so many physical memories of her to remember her once she's gone. I'm so sorry to hear that Daisy passed away, but just know that this video means a lot to me and my family and you're lucky to have gotten 15 years with her. Thank you.

​@@Toothless_Fairy Well she started having neurological episodes and had a bad one last night. We put her to sleep 6 hours ago, 12:30am. It was so hard but we gave her so much love and attention these past few months (although she got both of those things her entire life). We fed her steak every night and someone was always with her until the end when we were all together with her. Thank you again for this video, I wish we had gotten another four years like you had with Daisy but 12 was a lot. I'll probably make a video like this one day for Quin, once it's not as hard to think about the fact that she's no longer here. Thank you again and thanks Daisy.

after my grandfather died from cancer my family adopted his 10 year old black english cocker spaniel from who i knew growing up. She is 15 and had a heart attack recently but is still the sweetest and best thing in our life and the doctors say she will live a couple more years still. I love this dog so much and when i see this video it reminds me that i wont have her forever it make me so sad. :.(

I have a white cocker spaniel, when she runs in the snow it collects on her long leg hairs. After a few minutes she will be running with soft ball sized snowballs attached to her hair. Its the damn funniest cutest thing ive ever seen in my life.

My little boy Lynch (an English Cocker)came into my life just before you published this video. I became so attached to him so fast. I saw your video when he was just a puppy, I realized how much it would hurt when he died. Sadly that was just a few days ago. Such beautiful dogs in looks and personality. Shit I know that feeling. I don't need a video recording of the lifetime our cocker spaniel spent with us, but every day of it was wonderful. There are pictures all over my parents home of me and our pup Sid. You can see how I grew up and she stayed small, but I loved that dog to death. She was there every single day growing up. We have labradoodles now - both rescues. And while we love them and their goofy antics to death too, our cocker spaniel will always be the most special to us.

If you ever want to adopt, give cocker spaniels some serious consideration. Sure, they're stubborn. I was told cockers grow up to be very, very mean and bitey. But then I got my girl Marley (black american cocker, she's a little over a year old now!) and she's the sweetest little thing. She's proof (to me) that it's about how the dog is raised, not that certain breeds are born "mean." Marley loves my brother's friend's pitbulls too. :P
