Awesome Penguin Classics collection! I love that cover of Dorian Gray. 😃 I want that edition of The Monk but it usually has a higher price than most titles under this series so i am still waiting to find a cheaper secondhand version of it

i feel the same way about the crucible!! i read it in high school and really enjoyed it so thats definitely one i would love to reread now and see if i still enjoy it! also ouch my heart pride and prejudice is like... one of the few classics i read and loved HAHAHA

I read Kidnapped this week and loved it. I'm biased though as I like everything by RL Stevenson. You have some classy editions there I like the Twain book (s) Nice job fella :-)

I had to read the Last of the Mohicans in school. I believe it is set during the French-Indian wars that involved all of the colonies, France and Britain... And spilled over into Europe and became known as the Seven Years War. Unfortunately I don't remember the book as it has been over a decade, but it definitely shed a light on that period. I have it on my shelves and may give it a re-read.

@@ConnorStompanato In my country, the French-Indian wars is discussed a lot, almost as much as the War of 1812 is. In Canada, the war devastated the colony and led to the ethnic cleanse of French Canadians and the Acadians. There's a lot of resentment towards Britain in many parts of Canada, but both English and French Canada holds Montcalm and Wolfe as heroes. The book is American, but it speaks a lot about the war and the events of that war... But I believe it puts a lot of emphasis on the First Nation allies, which is extremely rare for a book written before the 21st century. Of course, I don't remember much of the book, but I remember it being very popular in our class.

The Picture of Dorian Gray - planning on read it tomorrow. Hoping to finish it before the month ends. Pride and Prejudice - I have the book. Persuasion - that's another book I have. Great Expectations - I have the book. I still need to read it. I learnt last year that George Eliot was a woman. Found it to be very interesting. Paradise Lost - Read the poem in high school. I should buy the book and read the entire thing. To Kill A Mocking Bird - I have the book. Still need to read it though. This is such a great video idea. Thank you for sharing.

Not a big fan of classics myself but I let this video play while I was working. Get that watch time man 😊. The only classics I have read are A Christmas Carol and To Kill A Mockingbird.

Jekyll and Hyde wasn’t my favorite either. I don’t know I didn’t expect much from it but literally same thought it was ok I don’t even think I finished the whole thing. I enjoyed The Odyssey in high school I gotta re read that too!!
