Also as a 1800 self taught chess amateur I can give the following advice - play against yourself over the board and try to make the best moves for both sides, make a few moves in one line, then go back to an earlier point and try another line, etc., extremely underrated and helpful method in my opinion

The squid issue needs sorting. Have other squids be able to punch them off ships like the dolphin does or something. Otherwise it just feels a bit broken.

or maybe make them destroyable the way terror drones are (destroying the ship it's latched onto would kill the squid)? this would make them less useful, so if this were the case, their cost should be decreased as well But this would make the squid just a marine copy of a terror drone, diminishing its uniqueness.

Once they latch onto a dreadnought or sub they're fucked and it devolves into killing them as they keep latching on to more and more units. It would be one thing if Allies had the only counter, but Yuri doesn't have to fear squids at all.

@@stormshadow7116 Fun fact Engi IFV can undo squids... ONLY ON CONCRETE SHORE TERRAIN where the squided ship happens to be right next to the land This does not work on beach tiles as beach has a sacrificial tile on the shoreline in which no units can pass... and the engi ifv is only range=1

I do have to ask Bryan. Why do you never use your IC to help shield your base against Supers? Popping IC then forcefield can save almost every structure if they're placed close enough. A lot of the time, you end up almost never using it (like in this game)

He explains it in the last few seconds of the game. Recon is just short for reconnection error. It’s an error that will pop up sometimes and end the game on the spot. Super annoying

tl;dr: yes streamer often have tunnel vision, it is normal. Relax, dude, don't be frustrated. Every game feels different when you play it comparing with when you watch it, and playing of course is more difficult. And on top of that Bryan is looking at twitch chat, he is reacting to new subscribers notifications and sometimes he has to talk to his wife who bring him some unexpected peanut butter can or whatever. Many events happen, it is hard to notice all of them.
