*With a Eurail pass, there's a tip that saves money and time. Take overnight trains between cities.* Adapt to the movement and your lodging is free. The time saving comes from leaving one city in the evening and starting to see the next the following morning. No days wasted traveling. Also, beds in hostels are more likely to be available if you drop by early in the morning.

@@zilla8783 mate it was a great trip. I went rome > about 4 other places in italy via train > slovenia > budapest > krakow poland (probably should stop at vienna or bratislava) > wroclaw > berlin > munich > lucerne switzerland > frankfurt > amsterdam > belgium > paris > basque region spain > barcelona > nice > milan > rome. That was ALOT of time on the train but I enjoyed every place and each one was worth it.

Looking at your travel map I can see the value of planning an itinerary ahead of time so that you can make the best use of time and money. I live in London and travelled solo to most of these cities. Research and planning is the key. There's so much you could have done in Barcelona in itself. It took me 2 days to plan what I want to see and do, book accommodation plan my travel locally and pre-book the entry tickets where I wanted to go. Because of pre-planning I could see a lots of things and see what Barcelona has to offer.

@CollinAbel
@CollinAbel 2 жыл бұрын
If you're staying at hostels, most of them have lockers you can keep your bags in. I recommend bringing a padlock, though, as they don't always provide them. If they don't have lockers, sometimes reception can keep your bags for you behind the counter or in a separate room while you're out for the day. Good luck with your trip!
