One of my favorite bands. 1989 - 2002 is the best era Of Green Day. Very good video!

Outstanding collection. There are two 7-inches you need to track down. “Pick a Winner” and “Berkeley Blockbuster”. They both fit into the Dookie and Insomniac era. If snagged those, you may have the best Green Day collection I have ever seen.
@VinylPotato7 ай бұрын
Thank you! I don't think I've ever seen those 7 inches out in the wild but I'll keep an eye on those.

I have one of the first pressings of 1,000 hours. It’s very delicate so I’m taking insanely good care of it but it’s amazing

I've seen those first pressings of the first singles. Looks like they were printed on regular paper. Definitely delicate. Great find.

The perfect discography for both Green Day collectors and fans of their music. I knew that you liked them Will but I never knew that you were keeping up with all of their releases. Including singles. I did not watch it all. But I did watch some of it. I will try to come back in the next few days to watch a little more. You really appreciate and know your GD~ Rob/Boston

Thanks Rob! I've been collecting GD CDs since high school so I got a lot of their stuff, specially CD singles. Those were pretty easy to find back in the 90s and affordable too. It was the only way to listen to the songs not included in the albums so I had to get them. Later on I started to collect them on vinyl too. Can't stop!

Thank you for sharing your Green Day collection. I especially enjoyed seeing those singes released on Adeline Records. I used to be on the Adeline Records street team.
@VinylPotato Жыл бұрын
That's so cool. Do you have any Adeline Records stuff?
@MNowinsky43 Жыл бұрын
@@VinylPotato Yeah. I got several Adeline Records releases on both CD and vinyl, as well as some stickers and promo posters. I had some band t-shirts but I outgrew all those. I also did some interviews with several members of different bands on the label back when I had a fanzine.
@VinylPotato Жыл бұрын
@@MNowinsky43 that's so cool. I think my favorite Adeline band was the Soviettes. I saw them open for against me back in 2005. Adeline was a cool label. Do you have those zines posted online?
@MNowinsky43 Жыл бұрын
@@VinylPotato The Soviettes were great! I love the entire Adeline Records roster but One Man Army holds an extra special place in my heart since they were the first Adeline band I saw live and helped promote. Unfortunately the interviews I conducted are not posted online but I still have them on paper so I may have to remedy that. One of the interviews was with Jason White and it was quite interesting.

Yeah I got it a while ago. I think they repressed that 2008 edition a bunch of times when Reprise took over the rights of the first two records from Lookout.

@@VinylPotato I meant to meantion that i think the most interesting or coolest one that you showed was the one, early in the video, that was produced by fans. I've never heard of that before. Very cool that the fans did it and that Green Day allowed them to do it (or assisted?)

I just had to own an original dookie vinyl from 94 with Ernie on the back cost me a whole paycheck on discogs but I needed one grail in my all reissue versions of Green Day albums on vinyl that most cost about 30 dollars.

That is a grail to me too. I only have an Earnie version on CD.

Hi! This is a very very nice collection, I'm a collector too, but definitely not at you level 😅 I have a question: where do you find the plastic protector sleeves for the Singles size jewel cases?? Cause I'm looking and looking on the Internet, but I only find the normal CD case size sleeves. Thanks for the video and have a nice day!
@VinylPotato Жыл бұрын
Thanks! The sleeves I have on my CD singles came with the CDs when I bought them. I don't have sleeves that are specifically made for CD singles. May be hard to find. I used to buy standard CD sleeves from sleevecityusa.com but I haven't used them in a long time.
