I don't have a heart to buy new LV bags. My LV bags (only 3) are all preloved and under 500€ each. I'm happy with them. Besides, they are carefree. It's important for me coz I don't baby ''things'', I do baby my fur babies😁😁. But I don't mind buying their SLG new (maximum 250 €/ pc though). My last and the only wishlist item is the passport cover with léopard-lion print. It's so cute and colorful. I wish that I could have it by the end of the year, to avoid price increase 2019

I find LV’s elusive policy with the luggage tags annoying too. It seems dependent on having a close relationship with a SA. Even more annoying is the mark up on eBay etc. oh well! I love your collection, so many beautiful pieces! ❤️

You don’t always have to a “special” relationship with an SA per se. You just have to own a luggage piece like a Keepall and order it as a repair item from the boutique. I did check with the 1866 client services number before getting one.

I recently purchased a 25-year-old pre-loved speedy 30, but I'm afraid to wear in the rain, humidity, if my hands are sweaty... All my bags are holding up great. My very vintage Speedy (almost 30 years old) is one I wouldn't mind wearing in the rain because I don't think it would damage that bag any more than it already is. I usually check the weather forecast before wearing a bag with vachetta and even then I make sure I have something with me to cover my bag in case there's unexpected rain. I don't baby most of my bags but I am careful and thoughtful with them. There are shops on etsy where you can purchase handle covers. You might want to check that out.

Autumn Beckman thanks Autumn... I was also wondering your personal opinion on the vachetta getting darker. Right now my 25 year old bag has a beautiful honey glow, is it like a right of passage to have your bag handles turn darker brown as the years go on? I understand the difference between black, dirty handles and nice honey handles. Do you know what Parisian women prefer? I'm just trying to get a handle on this handle thing. Thanks! RS

My speedy 25 has the same crinkling at the sides but mine is much worse, it's almost like tight waves if you can imagine that. It's also weird because when I unboxed it it wasn't like that but I guess when it adapted from being in Japan to New York air it affected the canvas? Would you reccommend trying the hairdryer trick?

I can't recommend it because I haven't tried it yet so I don't know if it works. I saw another KZbinr show the results of a Louis Vuitton tassel that he used a hair dryer on and the tassel pieces stuck together. He was able to pull them apart without damage but because of that I'm nervous to try it. I'm thinking it might work better on a bag since there aren't lots of small pieces that can stick together...but I don't know yet.

I was lucky that I didn't have to make that decision. I got my red interior before they released the pink one. It's a difficult choice because they're both beautiful. Think about which would go better with your wardrobe. The pink will show more dirt, too.

The 3 stores at the Houston Galleria have refused and a fellow KZbinr gave me her contact at the Macy's Herald Square but they wouldn't do it either. And I don't want to pay $100+ for a preloved one. :(

Great collection! I thought I had subbed already but I must have forgot. I’m subbed now though! I wish I could find a MM Sunglasses case- they are so hard to find even on the preloved market. I need the MM for my oversized sunglasses. Your denim clés is stunning- I have 5 of them- love to clip them on the outside of my bags too. I don’t even use them for keys since I got my 6 key holder. And the Toiletry 15 is so great! I was so lucky that my SA found one for me. I got the TP 19 preloved in the Addicted group and I love it but I use the 15 more since it fits in small bags. You have a lot of great LE unicorns 🦄 😍 And the Facettes is the absolute best LV charm- looks good on almost every bag. My most used charm 🙌🏼

Can anyone tell me the Louis Vuitton appeal? I don't mean that with any disrespect, I'm just very curious to hear from those that love this brand. I'm not very familiar with their bags to be honest, but it just seems like they always have the same repetitive print. And the interior doesn't look very luxurious. I find coach interiors to be nicer :/ I know a lot of people talk about the quality of the bag, but it doesn't seem like these bags really hold up that well at all.

I'll be doing a video on this soon. Stay tuned. They do have 3 canvas prints that you see most often (monogram, damier ebene, and damier azur) but there are also many other materials, colors, variations, and limited edition designs. The interiors vary depending on the piece. They are definitely durable and hold up very well over time which is why people pass them down through generations and purchase vintage pieces.
