My TOTS H2 from 2012 is also rotting along the neckline. But I sweated a lot in it and didn't care for/powder it. Regardless, back when it came out it blew all the other $60 masks away and it gave us over 10 years so far. I covered the rot with plasti-dip as I heard that slows the rot. I just use it for a life size prop now. You could also cut off the really dry part or use Aerospace 303 protectant, I heard that stops rot as well.

at 30 minutes in about displaying masks. as long as you keep them in a temperature controlled environment (roughly the same temp year round), keep them displayed stuffed with either paper or Plastic bags (I used plastic bags), and do NOT display latex masks on foam heads ! < that last bit i've heard some bad stories about. not 100% sure if that's accurate or not but as a safety precaution, you shouldn't. Also, building your own stands is better because you can customize them anyway you like unless you can afford the pro titled stands (Official Halloween 4 mask stand) or what have you. *if you plan to wear the masks, they will naturally deteriorate due to bacteria from body heat, sweat and breath. but you can thoroughly wipe out the inside of the mask with clean, soapy water (not too much) dry it 100% and then gently douse the inside with baby powder, restuff with paper and put back on mask stand. It's a good idea to buy 2 of the same mask. so you can use one for wearing and the other for display only.
