This is my entire Scream Factory Blu-ray Collection. Scream Factory is an offshoot label from Shout Factory where they release all their horror titles. The three editions Scream Factory usually puts out are single releases, double features and Collector's Edition. I also talk about several of the film directors that Scream Factory seems to feature which include John Carpenter, Stuart Gordon and Clive Barker. BTW, my Class of 1984 Collector's Edition Blu Ray came in today from Target.com, and it not only came with a slipcover, but the slipcover and case are sealed in plastic, and it is in PERFECT condition, having been shipped in one of those cardboard equivalents of shrinkwrap that basically conforms to the shape of the item, and on top of all that, it was shipped for free!

You may be right about that, because I just received Halloween III (which was released in 2012) from Target with a slipcover which is in pretty good condition despite not having been sealed in plastic! (The Blu Ray case, of course, did come sealed) The only one I've gotten so far from them that didn't have a slip cover was The Burning.

First off I love your review and also I am a very big Horror movie fan and I love the new nightbreed and lorad of illusions I have both on blu ray as well as the 30th anniversary edition of fright night and the special edition of ginger snaps and a few others. and thank you for showing so many some 4th hat I didn't even know was out on blu ray yet.

Sorry but forgot to mention, you should also add Army Of Darkness, Body Bags, Bubba HoTep, Return Of The Living Dead, and also Scarecrows (highly underrated supernatural horror movie with great spooky atmosphere and great score). Also, get The People Under The Stairs.

FYI this edition of _Love At First Bite_ restores the original "I Love the Night Life" musci in the disco scene, which on the previous DVD release was replaced with "The Man That I Love"

Great collection! If you like pure 80's type movies, I suggest Night of the Comet, good stuff. I also got burned by Amazon on the awesome Halloween 3 slipcover, so going through Shout! is the only way to go if you care about slipcovers. Love the collections videos as always!

Well, they usually come with the sleeves inside the plastic, so how would Amazon have anything to do with it? They mention on the website that "Releases with a slipcover (Collector's Editions) are only guaranteed to have a cover for the first three months after release."

Awesome scream factory collection. I noticed you didn't have Day Of the Dead or the funhouse or the burning. If you want to still get them with the slipcover I recommend going on eBay. You might have to pay $5-10 bucks. Sometimes even more. Awesome video Though!

NO LIE. I just ordered 10 Shout Factory films from Amazon at $18.99 a piece...All, but Psycho III came with a slip cover. It was a gamble, but, I took it. I have over 60 Shout titles, before I personally E-Mailed them for slips that I was missing, they sent them to me without question. Great company, and GREAT customer service...Of course, I sent them a picture of my collection too...that helped! Titles I got from Amazon TODAY, with slips...Escape from New York, Sleepaway Camp II & III, Psycho II, Prison, Phantasm II, Cat People, Class of 1984, Pumpkinhead. I think the only reason Psycho III did not have one is because it looks like it was a return. But, I E-Mailed Shout Factory, and it's on the way! Oh, and since I do have Halloween III w/ the slip, and in the boxset, I'd be more than happy to send that to you...Great collection!

I own it and have seen it. It's a collection of 3 short movies on one blu-ray disc. It's actually called spirits of the dead (sorry if i was misleading before) and each short has a different director (fellini, malle, vadim) and it has some real talent like Alain Delon, Brigitte Bardot and Jane Fonda amongst others. Wow everyone that hates Halloween 6 usually has only seen the theatrical version of H6. You need to see the producer's cut of H6 before you pass judgement on it. The P-cut of H6 has a different ending, and 45 mins. of alternate scenes, and a ton of extra scenes with Donald Pleasence in them. H6 was his swan song as he died before it was completed. Please disregard the theatrical version and check out the p-cut. Donald's best work as Loomis ever. That version of 6 is the LAST movie in the Halloween series IMO. It wrapped up everything from the previous films.

If you buy scream factory blu rays off ebay I highly recommend thinkingdvd it's where I order all my scream factory movies from and they always have the slipcover I have never once got one from them without it.

Late comment but maybe someone can verify this for me. I want to buy the sleepaway camp with the slipcover, so I would pick the collectors edition. But when I check shout factory’s website or Best Buy it just shows a stock image of the Blu-ray without the slip cover. Does anyone know if it comes with the slipcover still? It doesn’t say in the description or info either.

A change from the ordinary...I have a half decent Scream Collection..around 20.. It's so hard to keep up, NOT cause of Scream, but because Its either a 'New' release or pick up a few Screams..Dog Soldiers, Escape From N.Y, SleepAway, Babadook, From Beyond, LifeForce, The Fog, NightBreed and They Live are prob my Fav's..oh I dunno there are to many to choose from..The Howling has nice Artwork n so does Mad Max..PEACE MCD..From Tha UK Yo!..LOL

I really like your collection. The John Carpenter releases are my favorite I got to get Escape From New York, Prince of Darkness, The Fog, and Assault on Prescient 13 they're are a must have. But I have a question I really want all my the ones with slipcover to have a slip cover. mikeface1 if u buy them from shout factory within a couple of months of its release date, it will come with slipcovers, its a gamble if you wait any longer. I have had luck buying some off of amazon as well that came with slips but u have to buy them right away to get the slip. If you want the slip for example, The Funhouse, you are going to be out of luck either way because that release has been out for so long. Shout only presses so many slip covers, my suggestion is try to by them as soon as they are release, then you are guaranteed the slips

They Live is not a criticism of capitalism. That doesn't make any sense. Capitalism doesn't even exist currently in the United States as the primary economic system.
