I have a CD collection, that I started in high school because CD's were still a thing back then, but golly, having a vinyl collection would be amazing...there's just something to having a tangible thing to connect you to the music and to see the beautiful artwork and how even the record itself can be so gorgeous...it's something I'll do one day hopefully. For now I'll live vicariously through yours...

This is an awesome collection. I have 84 vinyls so far. I ave a list of all the ones I would like and it’s long, a few A4 pages. I bought 16 of them and then the rest were given to me by my grandparents. One of the, being sound of music, original copy and the 16th ever made.

@@BrianAddison94 I don't like, nor have I ever liked, Paramore enough to justify buying their albums on vinyl. I like "Brand New Eyes", but that's the only album of theirs I enjoy from front to back and I have it on CD. There also isn't any such thing as questionable taste, because taste is ENTIRELY SUBJECTIVE. Jon listens to some bands I don't like, but I cannot and will not say he has questionable taste for liking them. Why? Because his taste in music was shaped by different life experiences and people than mine was, so I can't argue that he's objectively wrong in liking what he likes. I think making such an argument is stupid.

You seriously need to update that turntable. The LP60 is a good beginner turntable, but since you can’t adjust the tone arm weight, overtime it may cause damage to your vinyl. I recommend the LP120.

It will keep the album jackets looking NEW -- I have records I purchased over 40 years ago , sleeved them back then, and they are still as fresh / MINT as the day I brought'em home😉😉

Bit late to this but if you're looking at turntables I'd recommend avoiding the LP60 and going for the LP120x instead as the counterweight and antiskate(now fixed on new models) will significantly increase the quality of the vinyl and lifespan 😊

It doesnt seem you listen to much Bowie, I think you should do a "first impressions" segment of some sort, where you listen to an album (you dont have to show this though, I understand copyright stuff) but give a review from first impressions. If you DO decide to do this, I also would recommend the Bends by Radiohead (I do not know if you have already listened to this album) as well as Kid A. Another Artist perhaps is Operation Ivy? I dont know if they are your thing, but I would like if you gave them a listen. And a last one would be The Squirrel Nut Zippers!

I've only recently began collecting vinyl's and only have two at the moment, the Stranger Things soundtrack and Janis Joplin live. It'll take a while to build it up, as I also collect other things (books being most prolific) and have a limited budget, but that also makes it more exciting when I'm able to purchase a new one 😄

Hey I like the collection but I think you should consider upgrading your record player. This will make the experience that much better and the quality way better. Consider the audio technica lp120 or something like the pro-ject debut 3. You will not regret investing in an amazing set up

From my local record store, I picked up a badass picture vinyl of Dookie with one side having young, early 90s Green Day on it and the other side images from the album cover. Definitely, one of my favorites among many others like Jimi Hendrix's Are You Experienced and my four Alkaline Trio records (Goddamnit, From Here to Infirmary, Good Mourning, Crimson, and Is This Thing Cursed).
