What a brilliant video Lafta, so much information, all of it very interesting. I thought the extra blobs of metal were called cud errors but I may have that wrong. I had a 2018 people act 50p that had one of the edge ridges missing, I kept it for ages believing it to be an error but persuaded myself It couldn't be & they were prob all like that. I must learn to have more confidence in my gut feelings on these things. I will be looking more closely now 👍😀
@LAFTA4 жыл бұрын
It's only really a cud if it touches the rim of the coin Nannysoo. Oh no, sounds like you might have been onto some thing with that one! Thanks for watching.

HOW TO MAKE SLIME 1 Pour ½ cup of the polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) solution into a beaker, jar, or bowl. If you want colored slime, add food coloring to the PVA solution and stir with a stir stick. 2 Add 2 teaspoons of the Sodium Tetraborate (Borax) Solution into the PVA solution and stir slowly. 3 Try lifting some of the solution with the stir stick and note what happens. 4 Once the slime has formed, you can play with it. Just don’t eat it! 5 Your slime will last longer if you seal it in a plastic bag and keep it in the ridge, otherwise it will dry out or mold. smashing Vid Lafta i like the "misfits" of the collection

Hey Lafta, great collection of Errors. I found a 2016 £1 with what appears to be an extra rim on one side, would that be considered an error?
@LAFTA4 жыл бұрын
Sounds as if you have come across some sort of collar error there Barry! Am I right in thinking I saw you win in the change checker video recently? Nice one! You can e-mail me pics of the £1 if you want to talk about it further mate.

New sub :). I think that 10p at 4.39 was probably tampered with and not from a struck piece (tig welder maybe?) For many 1000s of years people have made fake coins, its no real difference from people trying to make rare mule coins that have never been found, just saying :), dont be fooled with your eyes only!!!! :). Happy hunting!!!!!
@staffordshirebullterrierli74113 жыл бұрын
The fake pound coins we had here were gold painted lead type material that easily wore off with justa couple of years circulation. They were stamped xxxxxxxxx round the outside rims, millions of them :P
@LAFTA3 жыл бұрын
It's definitely a flawed planchet at 4:39 imo. Many different types of fake pounds exist. Thanks for the comments
