Why does he have to be policed, stalked, and questioned? If she's so concerned, just ask the girls what the point of questioning James is. That’s how ppl get unalived. And we were taught as children to not give information or speak with strangers. Quit being dramatic. She was looking out for the girls. A grown man trailing two young impressionable girls should set every alarm off for any right thinking member of the society. She does not know that you are the parent to one of the kids, and the kids coming to talk to you is neither here nor there. Remember that young kids are very impressionable. It doesn't take much to influence them. All you should have said was: Thanks Mam for asking. That is actually my daughter and her friend. Just making sure that the got to the playground safely. Do have a good day. Fortunately, the other kids grandma did what you woefully failed to do, by walking over to allay the good Samaritan's fears. I am sick and tired of the race card being brandished every time for mere frivolities, when in fact some of us suffer from vicious discrimination on a regular basis.
