That’s A LOT of battery power. After working out and about, I realised just my Macbook with an extra protective shopping, maybe a charger, and my phone. Is all you need. Gets to annoying and heavy, unless you going overseas or more days.

advice for battery, mine is sitting on 100 percent after 1 year. Dont let the charge drop below 20 percent. I am charging it overnight, and dont have the 80 percent mode turned on. Battery killers are overheating and when you let it drop below 20 percent.

5:01 I still use the Sony WH1000 XM3 . It still works with all my Apple Devices . Got it 3 years back and still will run for another 2-3 years . Then I might upgrade it

I think everything is great in your EDC, but I do want to point out that, from my personal experience, the metal watch strap does not go well with a Macbook, I had a strap that has a metal buckle, and it scratched my Mac, the second I noticed that, I got rid of it.

I've used the 80% charge limit setting since day 1 of getting my 15 Pro Max in October. I'm still at 100% max capacity with 236 charge cycles.

Holly molly, that Aer Techpack 3 can handle a 16” MBP and all that gear? Nice. I’ve been rocking the Aer Travel Pack 3 Small (28L) for a year now, and seriously, the thick, comfy shoulder pads and load lifters are a total game changer, especially since I lug around nearly 8 kg loads every day to the office. Definitely gonna check out that Aer Techpack 3 for my weekend outdoor gigs.

I don’t really understand the experiment with the 80% iPhone charge limit, especially when I assume you’re going to get the new iPhones as they release. Seems like you’re just lowering your battery life for no real reason.

Love your video! Also with your phone, the software is not limiting it to 80% per se. It limits it to charging beyond 80 during your non-peak times to prevent it from sitting at 100% when it isn't optional. It uses your charging behavior to deem this time frame. This means it will charge to 100, just at the right time. Old Apple Employee here!

This is incorrect. It sounds like you’re describing the “optimized charging” option, not the newer “80% limit” option. The latter does exactly what is sounds like - caps the charge at 80%, except for very rare circumstances, when it will go to 100 to maintain accuracy.
