Colin, as a non vapor/non smoker that you are, you are going above and beyond backing us who do vape and have successfully got off the darts. For me it has been 3 yrs and I've never looked back so thank you from the bottom of my heart and healthier lungs. I realize that I have only watched this short segment of the Senate Inquiry and this weekend I will watch the 40min version. But one thing that these Senators really needed to know, apart from telling them that the kids are obtaining the unregulated Chinese imported vapes, but making them aware that those vape are predominantly 50-80% nic strength, maybe even going to the extent of pulling one apart and showing them what little flavored juice there really is in the tiny canister packed with cotton and just a heater element in it. When I started vaping, I was between jobs and couldn't afford a real device, so I started on the chinese vapes, HQD to be precise. One day my youngest daughter came into my study and asked is this what you're vaping dad. It was a tiktok vid where someone pulled apart a HQD vape. I said nah that's not it and when I'd finished the vape, I pulled it apart. there was a tiny little canister in it, jam packed with cotton (or what I assume it was) and basically a wire going through it as a heater element. Essentially when the wire heats, the juice turns to vapor, but, like with any liquid heated, it moves away from the wire/coil. I take big drags, often and the cotton around the heating wire was brown/black, so essentially, if you have multiple successive drags/puffs (like me in this instance), the liquid hasn't had enough time to re-soak the cotton around the heating element so you're pretty much vaping burning cotton. Needless to say, after I discovered that, I quickly went out and bought a proper device all thanks to Steve(Legion Vapes), Sam(Vaping Bogan) Scott (Mystic coils) and who can forget my twin from another mother and slightly different father Andrew aka Birdy. Thank you again Colin for sticking up and helping out us 1.7million plus Vapers

They do but vapers need to understand people don't care about harm reduction ANYMORE, it's all about Vaping and it's future. If people want to make a change then have to stop using tobacco to prove your point, 95% safer means NOTHING but really dive into that 5%

@@VapeAu Even when cooking the molecules are diverse and contribute to the sensory experience of food preparation and enjoyment. People spray perfumes, deoderants, essntial oil etc all the time. Air is a mixture of many gases and particulates that we inhale constantly.

@@lukeloop chemicals are all around us and the dose makes the poison, but injecting yourself is pretty likely to be bad. Deodorant yeah people chrome and get sick, people vape essential oils and get evali. What's your point exactly? That abuse of these chemicals is always ok?
