My evo has an annoying idle issue and I think I finally fixed it

In today's video I go over the idle issue I've been having on my evo. I've been trying to fix it for a while now and I think I've finally figured it out.

I will watch every Evo idle issue video cause the reality is that we all have probably 5 of them, and one is just more annoying than the others at any given time.

Surprised you went for the EGR.When you have air leaks at the throttle body.Always do a boost leak test before you throw a tonne of cash at it..

So by deleting the egr did your evo run way better and no idle issues anymore?? Did a CEL light come on after removal of egr? I'm having the same issue car starts fine but idle accurs after warm up.

This seemed to fix the issue for me. I have since sold my evo but the CEL was on when I sold it. Best thing to do is smoke test then proceed to check EGR etc. those hoses back there are notorious for leaking.

Iac is the cause of my idling issue it keeps stalling. Replaced it and it’s gone.
