In the first story. That would honestly make me question whether I would want my mother or sister in my life again. The sister is just damn insane and the fact the mother took the ex's side so quick and dismissed her own son being abused because "she seemed so nice, no woman like that could be abusive" absolutely insane words. I have seen first hand how quickly someone's personality can change behind close doors...

That sister in first story sure is stupid. She thinks a man should take responsibility for the mistakes of women, but still its misogyny when man does what he wants and doesn't want to give money to support a child that isn't even biologically his and has no legal obligations. That sister of OP's is just another useful idiot who is brainwashed. If I was OP in that first story, I would have cut off contact with mom and sister instantly. There is no point staying in contact with people who do wrong to you, even if they're blood relatives. The sooner you realize to cut off the toxic brainwashed stupid people out of your life, the happier you will be. Always stand your ground, never let people shame you into doing shit you don't want to and cut off the people who try shit on you, they're not worth it.

Let’s be real nobody really has OP’s back as the father failed for letting his wife continue with this behavior and how OP’s mother failed when she choose to support the woman who hurted and abused her son, OP should have called his mom a failure of a mother for trying to convince him to take care of a kid that’s not his. I hope the OP wins the lawsuit and gives us an update about it too in the near future. The mother is a prime example of what a failure of a mother looks like because what type of mother sides with the woman who hurted and cheated on her son?!

Story 2: Just as a friendly reminder to anyone that might need to hear this, family does not have to include blood relatives, and can most certainly be chosen or found: I.E., friends, partners, surrogate or adoptive, even just role models. Just because someone shares the same last name, are your mother or father, your niece or nephew, aunt or uncle, whatever the affiliation, does not mean that they are family. Those who love you unconditionally and without remorse or resentment, are the ones that should be considered family. Always remember those that have been there for you through hell and high water, and forget those that are willing to chastise, reprimand, injure physically and/or emotionally, and belittle you for no better reason than because they're terrible people with complexes.

That sister and mother are psychos. He doesn't have to deal with either of them and he should cut off all ties with them. Story 2: That man is also not obligated to do anything to his family. They wanted children, they barely gave him the love and attention he deserved, they fixated their piece of shit views on their other children that they thought were more worth than him just because of a few things that they didn't like about him. That family is disgusting, and again, he is NOT obligated to be apart of that family, and it is best to cut all contact with them, just like the first story. For both of these people in both of these stories, I hope you get all the love and support and I hope all your problems get solved. You shouldn't have to deal with this and I hope putting your foot down has a happy, and all worth ending for you. You don't deserve all the bullshit you get from these people, they aren't worth your time and are taking away what deserved joy and or peace you have.
