That is the product of uncontrolled or increased migration. It puts a lot of pressure on social services including health. That is why the citizens are complaining. It is not because they are racist but it affects the quality of life.

If you can't get a gp , call 111 and you will be directed to a hospital or and urgent care would be book for you. Depending on how serious your condition is when you go to emergency you will be seen in an hour or 5 to 6 hours. If you can afford, go pravite and you will be seen right away. Depending on where you live , like her case edmonton, services are stretched but getting appointment for a gp is not so bad.in edmonton, you have ever green in the shopping centre and forest Road practice who have more GPS. You could get appointment in a day unless it's not serious. There is also one practice on church street next to rhe Karvan by the edmonton railway. A new practice has been opened in Angel Edmonton, the new building. There are so many practices around to get appointment if only you look or call 111 for referral. Also being in edmonton Green, your are close to about 5 hospitals with 10 minutes drive or 1 bus journey for emergency. These are North Mid, St Marys( between seven sisters and Wood Green), wipp Cross, Barnet and chase farm hospitals. I'm mentioning all these to show people comparing Ghana and UK are ignorant . Please don't compare Ghana and UK hospital, never! I'm talking from experience. I have got the same day dentist appointment in Guys hospital in London bridge for teeth extraction before. I was living in Enfield at that time. I was amazed when I got to guys hospital. It was like a hotel. I have spent 6 weeks in UCLH , Euston and North Mid for a medical emergency so i know what I'm talking about. If you can't get a Gp, call 111 and they will refer you to a nearby hospital and of its serious they will call ambulance for you. If it's not life threatening, and ambulances are busy, they will call a taxi for you free of charge. Which ghana healthcare provider will do this. My sister, 10k ghana cedis is nothing even 15k. There are loads of opportunities in UK, appreciate what you have . I admit sometimes the services are stretched but for Ghana it can never compare, EVER! Americans dream for the kind of healthcare we have on uk. Stay blessed

I think the GP issue depends on where you are based in the UK. If you're in a congested place like London the queue will be long. If youre in country side where people are not many it's doesn't take long to see the doctor.

Abroad is for hustle not for relationship. Every one travelled for a purpose not like where we come from where we bread children like fools and depend on government to take care of our children and us as parents. All we know in Ghana is go for parties, funerals, night clubs and bars, wasting our precious lives and turn around to blame government for our lavish lifestyles. Lord have mercy 🥺

The lady looks young. She should get a husband who is SELF EMPLOYED so that she can fulfill all her DREAMS. Self employed men who are hardworking have enough money to take care of their family. Every woman should know that, women love successful men so don't be surprised if you see women CHASING your husband. If any woman wants a successful man, she should prepare a separate bed for her husband in order for him to plan his business for the next day. Most successful men sleep ALONE.
