I was there too, and I agree with everything you say. It was an amazing experience, and a remarkable and fitting tribute to ABBA's legacy. With this concert we have come full circle on a voyage from ABBA to ABBA, and with it has come the closure that so many ABBA fans have longed for. In a channel (Cotton Ward) i just watched a little vid(1min:04secs) titled "FRIDA at ABBA ARENA VIP premier 26th May)Frida alone was met with a couple of fans at the backyard of the Arena and had a chat.One guy shouted"ANNI-FRID you are beautiful" "we love you"/."You sang "No doubt about it" like 20 smth!you belted it!" she aproached and said smth like "i lied about my age"lol!"I love you too" .What a humblewoman and what a big heart she has!How caring she is to her fans!Then she waved and left while Ludvig was waiting away.Guy who had talked to her couldn't believe he had that chance and was ready to cry after she left!

Dearest BB, your smile said it all. When it hit Australia yesterday ( just small bits) I personally was transported back to my very young self. How can anyone sum up live or otherwise this feeling. I was in tears..not of sadness, but pure joy. My mouth hit the floor watching the ABBA-TARS move on stage. As I said I only saw bits that Australian TV showed. Plus on Instagram and Twitter accounts. Then these four beautiful, humble people appeared. That broke me. The love they have for each other is not something that I can put into words. The love they have for everyone of their fans, old, new and in between is indescribably beautiful. My friend thank you for your beautiful message on here.. Hey, BB! I just got back from London. I was there on the opening night 26 May and yesterday 27 May as well. Too bad I didn't see you there. You echo my sentiments exactly. The atmosphere in the Arena was electrifying. The enthusiasm, people of all ages singing and dancing along. You really have to be there at the Arena to experience the show and let it wash over you. I can say that the show far exceeded my expectations. The opening with the ABBAtars emerging to "The Visitors" sent shivers down my spine. The dazzling costumes looked amazing. It really is a concert like no other and it also got me teary eyed at times. Like you said: ABBA finally has a happy ending. All four of them collaborated on this amazing, innovative project. This Voyage show (and album) is almost certainly the last project they do together. It's like they are giving ABBA a new life through the ABBAtars, as they gracefully bow out. The four of them appearing on stage at the end of the premiere show was the icing on the cake. I will cherish the memories of these two fantastic nights for the rest of my life. I can see this show giving a huge impulse to ABBA's already enormous popularity, as it is a jaw-dropping triumph. I'm in awe!

You know you usually break down everything in a very insightful way. Today I think you verged on speechless. and were unable to really put into words how wonderful the show was. That says it all. Your face said it all. The reviews are incredible too. I am a 75 year old American who knew and loved a few ABBA tunes (a typical American). I discovered them in all their glory during COVID. I may make the trip to London to see them. Late discoverer or not they are now to me the greatest band who ever graced our presence.

I am so happy for you. I must tell you those goose bumps you felt are like the goose bumps us old fans experienced 40 years ago. When the girls appeared with those beautiful capes in Edmonton in 1979 my eyes welled up with happy tears. There so many tears that I could not see through the binoculars for the first two songs. Oh BB... We must have been meters away, because I was just on the first row as well. I have no words for what I have lived last night. I wish I could have thanked them. I need to say thank you for this gift, this immense gift to all of us that is simply out of this world. My heart will be forever grateful to these visitors from another reality. From a world of joyful melancholic magical nostalgia, music and fantasy. I would have never imagined I would witness something like this. It will forever remain in my mind. They really outdid themselves. They bowed away giving it all. All their might, their magic. All they had. And it was brilliant. It was simply perfect. The greatest coronation they could have for their career. I have no words. This was marvelous. I wish I had met you to share those first instants after the show, when you feel like you're slowly floating in that ABBA "outer space".

@@bobbysbrother137 No, that wasn't me, sadly I didn't have the opportunity to see anybody up close :( Actually I entered the Arena directly, I didn't even know that we could go to the red carpet before. I had no idea how these events work and I regret it so much!... I was at the front row of the dance floor, in the center curtain but slightly towards the left. And at the end ABBA appeared on the right side. It was a short distance but it seemed like a galaxy away given how short it was. It as like seeing a shooting star.

I was lucky enough to be at the Premiere opening night of the Voyage Concert too. It was an honour and a privilege to be there all thanks to Anita and Helga of the ABBA fan club. It was such an incredible, amazing and emotional evening I shared with fellow fans from around the world, the atmosphere was filled with such a magic and union of souls...all of us there with the same love, joy and happiness we have for these four musical heroes from Sweden. As the show began I got goosebumps all over from the imagery that was appearing in front of me and my jaw dropped when the Abbatars began to perform...so life-like, so real, so beautiful, so magical. At such a special event as that how could anyone feel so lonely 😄

You are so lucky. I wish I could have been there. I have loved ABBA for over 40 years, I saw them in concert in Toronto, Canada (Where I am from) in October 1979, and have been a member of their fan club for over 25 years. I attended one ABBA Day in Holland, and regret not making it to anymore. My dream has been to meet Agnetha since I was a teenager. She is so beautiful to me.

I could really feel in this video that the show tugged on your heartstrings hard! Brilliant analysis of it being like a fairy tale and now ABBA has a happy end - that's it in a nutshell and all us ABBA fans can experience it - the ABBA voyage. 1982 was left hanging with an unsatisfactory "end", but now they will live on for eternity. I was there too, Thursday and Friday. What an event. Exceeded my wildest dreams, I did not expect this. I always thought you would somehow see that they weren't real, but nothing could be further from the truth. Especially during the concert on Thursday. I knew the members of Abba were there and at the end of the show they came on stage. I went crazy of course. Then they went off the stage and suddenly the real Abba members stood in front of me. I couldn't believe my eyes that a few seconds earlier I thought they were the real members but they were the Abbatars too. I really didn't get it. It's all so realistic. Well done and I will definitely watch again.

It was truly amazing and so much to take in. The sound, the lighting, the live band, the avatars. I'm going to another show soon and I think it's best to really focus on the avatars instead of looking at the big screens too much. That should be the case for any concert anyway. Of course the screens are huge but they are largely to help with the illusion like presenting different camera angles when the figures are moving about the stage. So, of course, glance at those times but by watching the avatars intently, you notice all the little mannerisms, expressions and gestures that are familiar to those four people they represent. ABBA haven't just taken the Whitney Houston and Roy Orbison visual effects a step forward. They've taken it into a completely different realm and dimension altogether. I can't see any other music artist even getting close to this for years. Very few have got the clout and massive, enduring fan base to pull this off anyway.

❤ABBA ! I've only sat through your review, and a couple of other reports, and I'm so happy for you, Bobby, and everyone. My only regret is that I wasn't there to experience this EVENT for myself. Like ABBA themselves - a unique, truly one-of-a-kind sensation - this concert could not be anything other. So, so happy that all four members were there in attendance as well. They deserved this, and all the attention they received. Still what surprises me is how they are amazed at how well everyone reacted - on their feet the entire time, singing along. I just want to take each ABBA member by the shoulders, look them in the eye, and remind them again that the magic, the spirit, the love never waned. And my only wish from here forward is that they understand that, and, as long as they live, they consider giving us more of their incredible talents in another album. I have to believe this experience will keep them alive and productive for more. Thanks for being there last night, Bobby. Looking forward to more commentary. Peace.

My greatest heart ache is that I will never be able to see the show. I have been an ABBA fan for over 40 years. My greatest joy is that they did a new album for us and never in my wildest dreams did I imagine this would happen.

I feel the same heart ache. I think it's the same for most fans. A huge build up with lots of anticipation and excitement but then the harsh reality hits... most fans will never see the concert. I cannot travel by plane for health reasons and I live in Australia, so that eliminates me.

Yo seguía las alternativas del evento por internet mientras estaba en mi trabajo y en el momento en que el show estaba a pleno, no me podía concentrar en lo que hacía. Pensaba en vos y en los que pudieron estar. Y trataba de imaginarme lo que estabas viviendo y en cómo sería todo. Y ya está, por más que nunca tenga la posibilidad de experimentar algo así, con sólo ver esa expresión en tu rostro, se que fue algo diferente, algo único, algo que sólo Abba lo podía hacer. Hey hey BB Ahhh you where there that’s fantastic 🥰🙌 I was also there on both nights wish I had said hello but so many fans old and new 😉🤩 hard to recognise everyone but did meet so many past and present friends 😍I was so excited and thrilled wee all got to experience this together and hopefully fans who couldn’t can perhaps go in future as dreams do come true for everyone aventualy 😉 ONG what an Absolutely Mind Blowing Show that had me fixetad from the first moments it begins until the applause finally ends 😉🤩 I can trully and honestly say I had the time of my life it was a night or two that I’ll never forget the premiere was so beautifully orchestrated from the moment I arrived until the moment ABBA walked into the building ohh my 😳😢😂🤩🥰🕺🏻 Agnetha and Frida in there Fendi looked absolutely stunning so elegant and regal with smiles that brought so many of us to tears 😭 Really words can’t describe how I felt or how I still feel 😳 ABBA 💯 percent continue to be the pioneering group that can make you so happy with joy happiness and emotional elation all within the same context 😳🥰😍I can’t say anymore than I’ll be back for this magestic concert very shortly and probably many more times in the future 🤩 The experience is an antidote to lift you into a surreal world of pure and utter blissful joy and happiness you just wanna dance dance dance 🤩
