It’s not just your videos. There are tons of van videos. It’s YOU. You have a lovely essence. As an introvert, sometimes we feel fine with a lot of people IF we are like minded. I am so happy that WRTR/RTR was such a good experience for you. Volunteering is a great way to get involved in an event without knowing anyone beforehand. You meet the folks in your volunteer shift, they introduce you to others and before you know it your head is spinning from all the people you have met. Bravo for pushing boundaries and putting yourself out there and also taking the alone/rest time you need to stay in balance. Great video, thanks so much!

Thank you Amanda for sharing your experiences at the RTR and WRTR events. Having watched your videos for over 3 years it’s been lovely to watch your personal growth and comfort grow with sharing more of yourself to us and others. The smile on your face and the happiness in your voice as you shared your meetup and how much out of your comfort zone you have pushed yourself is wonderful to see. I feel like a new world is opening up for you and I’m excited to follow along in your new found happiness. Frank looked like a real trooper and hopefully he enjoyed himself and made some news friends as well. 🥰🥰

As to the large tree you inquired about 37:29 , it is mesquite. Mesquite trees were a major food source for the Native Americans living in the desert. Each summer mesquite trees produce an abundance of seed pods. The seeds, dried and ground into flour, provided a major food source which lasted until the next harvest.

Thank you, no wonder I had a good feeling about it. Gotta love a food tree.

I’m a new subscriber and FT dry camping nomad for 1 year now. Met you the first day of WRTR and got a photo with you after you spoke at the event. If you were nervous I couldn’t tell. You gave a great presentation and seemed very poised and well spoken to me. Great to meet you in person. Frank is such a cutie and as a former dogsitter it’s heartwarming to see your bond. Agree the vibe changed a lot attending the coed RTR and I’m not sure about going again but hope to see you next year at the all women’s event. I was coming off 3 months of solitude Boondocking and Made it through 5 days of peopling before I needed to give myself a break

What you give to women is so valuable to our changing, shifting lives!! I’m so glad that there is a channel like this that women of any age can find deep value in. I wish I had a mentor that told me I was allowed to find myself and that my quirks and oddities were my way of feeling comfortable in my own skin… I didn’t realize how conforming and restrictive my 30’s and 40’s were!! Once I became a shell of myself and felt absolutely nothing, it was only then did I realize that if I was going to live fully I needed to be free and quiet, I finally treated myself like a best friend first! Being gentle, kind and honest to myself felt like a decompression of my entire being… You are such a master of honoring your self and knowing these things young and sharing them with other women is life affirming!! Thank you, you change women’s lives through out the universe❤

Kudos Amanda, you are receiving all the good that you put out into the world. The topics you covered sounded so great. I'm sorry that I missed it this year. But next year... When you said that you spent your time preparing for your talk and that you felt faint. My physical reaction was well heck yah. I know that for myself I don't think I could do what you have done. Just the overwhelm. Which makes me very interested in whether you or someone recorded your Wellness on the road talk. I would be so interested in seeing it. Thank you for sharing your journey. 💕

Great video on your experience at WRTR and RTR! 👏 Wish I could have stayed to go to your meet up but had to get back for work. And after coming back to camp Saturday evening and seeing all my stuff blown down by that awful wind, I decided to pack up and head home a day early. I agree with you that the WRTR had a different vibe, and though I only attended the 1st day of RTR, I'm undecided if I'd go again. Anyway, I'm amazed you found sandy ground for Frank ❤ in Quartzsite! 😊 Oh, and that full moon clip was absolutely beautiful! 👍🏻👍🏻 Hope we have a chance to meet again somewhere down the road! 😉

I feel terrible that you suffer with migraines without medication. I dont your situation or how you feel about medicine but I know it took me going to urgent care with a migraine to get a prescription for sumatriptan (Imitrex, Tosymra), it has changed my life. The my neurologist also prescribed 400 mg of B2 daily - which helps keep the at bay . ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ you shouldn’t have to suffer the way you do. I feel like there are too many of us who don’t get treated with enough serious concern for such a debilitating issue - hoping the best for you . I really hope you find relief

I do take medication when I can catch it in time and while it helps it’s not enough for me to go on with life as normal.

So glad you had such a wonderful experience at the WRTR and RTR. It is so life validating when we expand our horizons. Especially when you are able to to provide a positive experience for other road travellers.

Wow, this was an adventure for sure! I'm so proud of you for really stretching yourself. It is so much easier to just hang out with ourselves, so I'm impressed. I had seen a couple of videos of not so nice reports of RTR, so I'm glad your experience was so good. It kind of explained it when you said the RTR and WRTR are very different. Thousands of people, I would not like to be there. I've had my fill of that with Day on the Green concerts and the US Festival days. You are still young, and I"m sure it was all enjoyable. Thank you so much for keeping us all in the loop with so many details, Amanda. I hope you are able to recover and recharge going forward. I wanted to add that I love the backpack for Frank! He looks so happy hanging out in it. I'm glad your gathering turned out so great, too. Peace & Love to you.

You went in with conscious intention, boundaries, and bravery and came out on the other side just fine with new realizations about yourself. It's good to see how you pushed and broke through your boundaries which I find for myself can be limiting, growth stunting, and isolating at times. Being newly retired I have to push myself sometimes even though I do so much better connecting with my friends and community on the regular. Congrats Amanda on this very BIG LEAP that you've accomplished. I want to say I really SEE YOU!!
