I can't drive for so,e 1 mistake at 47 .you didn't learn anything near enough in 3 weeks . Done 4400 average east coast by myself . People need better training

Backing is part of any cdl test for any state. If you leave a training course not knowing how to back a trailer then you had your money stolen from you. Blaming a trucking company for not hiring you because you cannot demonstrate the BASICS of your cdl in your pocket is well the right decision by them. I know new drivers don't want to hear this, but you need to research and demand completion of your training for your cdl, after all you pay $2k to what $5k or more? Do not allow them to graduate you

I drove for Western Express Inc. For 9 months the worst experience that I have ever been through they screwed up on my pay on 4 of my loads they only paid me $300.00 for the 4 loads & this was towards the end of my time with Western Express I went home Thanksgiving Holiday & cleaned out my truck I dropped my load off in New Jersey & went to the Bethlehem Pennsylvania terminal called my dispatcher and told him that I quit and turned in my truck my terminal was in Nashville Tennessee.

I just finished training with WE and they're trying to find me a truck, but with what I've seen and experienced so far I'm now trying to decide if I should move to a different company before I even start. Either Schneider or Knight. I'm thinking Schneider mostly since it will only be a week with a trainer.

There are quite a few companies that will pay for a refresher course. Schneider, FFE, KLLM, CRST...If you have a clean record FFE probably would be the best option. They have an onsite dorm to stay at in Dallas and start pay is .45cpm. It is mostly all refrigerated though.
