Hi everyone, I hope you are all well. This video is about my raw footage of Manila on my way to pick up a rental car in Makati. Not a pretty site, but a very humbling experience. Since I don't have properties nor assets in the Philippines, I have to stay in hotels and rent a car during my 2-week vacation with my daughter in the Philippines. It's kind'a weird when I went back home to the Philippines... It took 11 years before I was able to come back. Never have I imagined that I would be a tourist in a country that I was once a citizen of. Come join my journey as I've reflect and wander in my former/forever home... the Philippines - with me on the driver's seat... for the VERY first time. ☺️ Let's go!

Hello, thanks for this video. I agree, the last time we went to Manila, it was really a humbling sight. We're also planning to rent a car when we visit Manila later this year. Did you have any travel insurance when you went? If so, does the car rental company offer comprehensive insurance?

Wala akong insurance, but yes, VMCT car rental has their own insurance. 😊

If you are in Manila Philippines then go for best 🚗 rental company. I prefer #AnisTransport car rental company for all budgets with driver and self drive. They response too quick on any questions.

To me, it was worth it. I haven't been home for 11 years, so I do not know how to commute. 😅 Best of luck to you. I think it's scarier to drive in I95 here in US than Philippines. 😄

Hi, wala namang problema sa mga checkpoint. We passed only a few sa Clark, Pampanga, they just asked us to roll down our windows to check. Yun lang. If you meant sa highways, basta may RFID, your car can pass conveniently. Itong pinag-rent ko, they provide their cars with RFID. Pwede mo load-an thru GCash or sa 7 eleven. Thanks for asking. Goodluck po if you decide to rent a car sa Philippines. I recommend VMCT car rental. They are friendly and reliable.😊
