My wallet had me choose between a VIP between Cher or Britney this summer... and THANK GOODNESS I went with the ultimate queen Cher. She takes her time to chat, hugged me closer to her for the 3 pictures we took, and as I was heading out of the photo area, she calls to me from across the room to tell me a story. Her staff couldn't have been nicer & her security even complimented my Cher outfit. The photographer said "Look here Ladies!" and counted down so we don't take a bad photo. So I say meet your heroes because you will know if they are worth your support and admiration.

This is so sad. Unfortunately she likely does have some control over her meet and greet experience and it wasn’t entirely live nations fault. I did Gaga meet and greet a few years ago and we were only allowed 45 mins to chat with her in a small group after the show backstage. When they told us time as up Gaga said “no we aren’t done yet” and we spend another 30-45 mins talking. They said no hugs with Gaga too but she grabbed me and hugged me and thanked me for coming to meet her so if she wanted to provide a good meet and greet I think she could’ve. If this happened to me with lady Gaga I would’ve cried too though. That’s devastating. Not to mention meet and greet tickets got a vip area connected to the stage elevated off the ground. I am shocked Britney’s meet and greet was so messy :-/ such a shame because she is such a legend and many people look up to her 💔

I was one of those ''early entrance" guys :D But it was a mess. We were told to check in between 5 and 6 pm strictly! with Vip Nation, but we only started to enter 3Arena 5,45. The gift bag was the same as yours, just the poster is not signed. Anyway, I was so disappointed with the whole organisation and with the concert as well. I still love Britney, but the truth is she doesn't sing, her dance moves are ridiculous, she looked kinda unconfortable doing what she was doing, and to top it - she barely said 3 sentences the whole night. Comparing other artists and their stage presence to Britney's it is just a miracle she is allowed to go on a stage. It hurts me to say it but that's that.

I recently watched another video where this lady went to hug Brittany for a photo and Brittany said I will not take a picture with someone who is touching me! She had security come and throw her out! I won a M&G with Keith Urban. I am a fan club member. Have been for 15 years. As soon as it was my turn, as I stepped through the curtain, Keith came to me with open arms. He gave me the biggest hug, and was an absolute gentleman. My time was limited, but it was amazing. Those with VIP seats/pit was escorted by security to a sectioned off place right up to the front of the stage. Keith takes very good care of his fans. BTW.......fan club members went in first to meet him. Then those who bought VIP were grouped together as per package they had purchased. It was done by Live Nation. I am sorry you had such a bad experience. I know it must have been heart breaking.

Justin, I’m terribly sorry that you had to experience your moment with Britney in the way it was experienced. I have always been against meet and greets because some of the entertainers and stars that have impacted our lives so much do let us down when we encounter them in reality. I can no longer defend Britney. I got to meet her once when she toured for circus in my home town and we actually had about 10 minutes in which she she told me she enjoyed the energy of my town and she thanked me for coming and I told her how I’ve supported and continue to love her. I met her again in Vegas and shockingly she remembered me, not my name but face and said it was on her circus tour. So that blew me away. I just wish she would see this outcry from her fans and supporters and do something to change it.

Now, as to pre signed posters, I have heard that there are times other people on the artist’s team who help sign... again, happening since the beginning of time. For the M&Gs, though, those signed posters should be her signature, alone, and a little more detailed. The team knows in advance how many people buy these special packages... they can give her the stack of posters to sign that day, and be done with it...

I can say this now because I’m leaving for a new job and Britney’s residency is over at our property, but I’m part of the corporate Marketing team for Planet Hollywood and all the shows there, and I’m so sorry this happened to you. Unfortunately it’s equally something that Britney, her team, and tour management company decide on. They have the option of making the meet & greets smaller and hence, more intimate one-on-one time with fans but it isn’t something any of them want to do. Britney does have a say in this because of course, she’s the talent and her team backs up most of her decisions and pushes them. Working with all these artists and their teams, they always push the artists’ agendas first. If Britney doesn’t like something or how we’re marketing something, we have to adjust accordingly. It makes you really think about them wanting to do these for the numerical value versus the fan engagement. Not to bash them at all, just an observation and intrigue I have towards their choices. Anyway, if you’re ever in Vegas let me know, I may be leaving for LA now but still have my connections and promise you meeting Gwen Stefani or Backstreet Boys is a much more friendly and genuine experience ❤️

You know, I never really followed Britney Spears' music career... well I really don't follow anyone's music career, but I did remember that she used to give off a genuine and sweet impression in the early stages of her career. Funny thing is, she actually made a song called "Lucky" that capitalized on the isolation and artifice of fame. Regardless, as an artist myself, I believe that a true artist should never forget their roots and the people like yourself who got them there in the first place through all the support. If a person like Britney Spears doesn't have enough tact to appreciate her fans anymore, maybe she isn't a true artist in my view. @Yegs2 Actually, that's not true. Not getting what you were expecting is the exact definition of a 'bait and switch' which is illegal here in the US. The credit card company would more than likely reverse the charges if he filed a claim. I would also report it to the attorney general's office and the BBB bc if enough people do that they will bring a class action lawsuit against the promoters which may prevent others from making the same mistake &/or force them to change their policies regarding these meet and greets. (Idk what the legal recourse is outside of the US.) I've actually never even heard of celebrities doing this kind of thing for personal profit. The musicians I follow only do these things for charity events, not to put more money in their own pockets. I'm sorry, but Britney doesn't seem to care about anything or anyone. She could use her position to help people, but she'd rather be prancing around making stupid videos of her workouts for social media. Time to get a new idol.

People need to start blaming her, not her staff. At the end of the day she is the one who has all the rules about touching and she actually had a Spanish fan thrown out by security for placing her hand on her back and refused to take a picture. She even laughed at her when she tried to apologise and beg for a photo because she had spent so much money to be there (keep in mind flying to the US). Don't feel bad for crying honey, Britney screwed you over. She doesn't want to meet her fans and learn their names, she probably wants those things over as soon as possible. And it's terrible that your dream was crushed, but please hold her accountable. If we don't blame the artists then they will never change.

i'm sorry you went through this, it truly is heartbreaking to not experience meeting your idol the way you envision. but i think it's important to take into consideration her conservatorship and she probably doesn't have control over anything in regards to these meet and greets. i bet that if she got out of her conservatorship her meet and greets would be more down to earth and she would have more freedom to talk to whatever she wants with her fans.

Thanks for sharing. I've watched a few videos of people sharing their experience and the American experience is the same. You just walk in, take a picture and then leave. As someone in another video said, I don't think Meet and Greets are her favourite thing to do. However, she should make an effort to give people an experience worth their money. So really and truly she is to blame, but it's Britney so we won't really be mad at her. You can't really blame VIP Nation because Britney is seeing first hand the time she is giving to her VIP's and she hasn't changed the format after 3 years. I feel your disappointment but thank goodness you were able to enjoy the show. Lesson learnt I guess.

I worked in radio for years and have had many meet and greets. Only one has been horrible. I remember I had just moved to a new state working for a new radio station and our sister station was country which I ever had listened to and try had a extra ticket for Martina McBride and invited me along so I figured why not. I got to go backstage and meet her. As soon as I walked in the door this tiny little thing shook my hand very strongly and hugged me tightly. She talked to me for a few minutes. It was such a wonderful experience I will never forget. Now I did get a meet and greet to Kenny Chesney years later when he was at the height of his career and let me tell you it was literally 5 seconds. Now he was super nice and we were able to say hello but there were people there that paid for their meet and greets and mine was free due to radio but I would personally never pay that kind of money to meet anyone. When you are a big celeb in an arena tour there just isn't time for chit chat. However, when celebs charge that kind of money they owe it to you to spend at least a couple of minutes to give you your money's wprth. It's all about that money.

I live in Los Angeles and celebs are out quite frequently and the ONE thing I have seen and experienced...as much as I want to embrace them and tell them how much their work/talent inspires me. I make the conscience effort not to. I got lucky because there's one particular singer that means the world to me the way Britney means to you and both she and her mother were so sweet and so endearing and it really made me feel so loved and had I had the experience that you had with Britney I would be crying too. Its Earth shattering to know that you love these people and respect these people and they don't show you any kindness or gratitude.

I've not met any of my current idols unfortunately but the favorite singer I had as a teen I met several times and was never disappointed and I was so annoying I even approached him twice before shows when he was sitting at a restaurant lmao but he was just super polite and took his time doing small talk and agreeing to take selfies. I still like him because of this even though i'm not a fan anymore and he's gotten even bigger since then but is still very nice to fans. But when it comes to celebs like Britney I can honestly see and could guess beforehand how it was gonna be considering she has her problems and is probably very much being pushed to continue touring.

I just my idol, Mariah, a couple weeks ago and it was amazing! She hugged me several times, we talked, we held hands, I got to tell her everything I’ve wanted to say since I was 11 and as I got a little chocked up she was getting ready eyed. She was amazing. I haven't got a chance to go to a Britney concert but ive learnt not to go for VIP packages anymore after I went to this Korean artist's 'meet-and-greet' show. The VIP package was $250 and they mentioned that there will be a special gift and a photo session with the artist himself. The gift is a freaking holographic keychain with his name on it (like the one you can find at local Kpop store) and the photo session was at most 30 seconds long and it was in a group of 30 people and you cannot talk to the artists, you cannot give anything to him ( you have to pass the gifts to a worker) and I was like "Wow, this is such an underwhelming experience." So no more VIP packages in concerts for me anymore. They are not worth it. Like I could have paid for the lowest price and probably have a higher chance of meeting him or getting something better.

I don't think the artist himself is a bad person but the management and organisers of this concert really done the fans wrong.
