Thank you!! I had the best time in Japan, it truly was a dream come true and surreal experience for me, because up until I actually got there, I never thought I'd make it ! I actually once had a dream long ago that I'd visit many different countries, but not Japan. I was so disappointed about this because Japan was a dream place I wanted to visit. It's totally superstition that I was worried I wouldn't make it one day, but I did and I am so grateful! I got to meet up with a great friend, too! I hope in the future I will be able to visit again some day :) and do even more shopping in person hahahha Glad to hear you had a wonderful time on your trip as well ^^

Finally got the time to watch ! (While making bloomers for my shop, such a mood 😅) Old school sax lolita coords are such a vibe lately. It matches your aesthetic well and I hope to see more of it on you. Your AP bag makes me want to go to the sea, it looks like a buoy. I love it. And about the Ivory X White, it is actually a really acceptable combo together since the beginning. However in a different combo, with a darker colour, it was really "forbidden" to match your whites with ivory items. I personally love the white X ivory combo, it gives a really soft classical look. Thank you for watching!! I am definitely on a journey to try and get a sax main piece (more than just a skirt, hopefully a dress) and I feel dedicated now with all the accessories, lol. I felt the same way about the AP bag lolol it reminded me of an inner tube hahah ooo I see! yes I feel like when I first joined because OTT sweet was sooo popular I didn't really see much ivory in general! I think it's a beautiful color to play with but I can see how it could be challenging. I love it with white, though! I agree, it definitely gives such a classic look. It makes something feel more "antique" feeling to me! Thank you again for watching ^^

I probably talked to the same guy when I went to the mam store last summer 😄. I'd passed by mam two times before, but both times they had already closed for the day. I was in Japan for an English tutoring internship, and my odd non-working hours meant it was slightly difficult to visit shops when they were open. I'd noticed mam had the Clair de Lune SK in black & white on display, and just days before my flight back home I decided to make the trek to Harajuku one last time and stop by mam. I saw 'the guy' working the kiosk, and gesturing to the SK hanging on the wall, I asked in my elementary level Japanese, "Are there more of this skirt?" After looking through clothing racks, shelves, and boxes, he said the SK on display was the only black & white one left and to my surprise, asked me if I'd like to buy it. I was ecstatic bc I thought I'd have to leave empty-handed and eagerly said, "Yes, I want to buy it!" I probably said it with such gusto that he thought it amusing and chuckled a bit. It was a friendly interaction that I'll always remember. I agree that there really is something special about smaller stores, and I hope to go back and visit mam again.

aw that's such a sweet memory! I am glad to hear you were able to purchase the skirt and with such a nice memory attached to it. Thank you for sharing the experience you had as well. I find it so touching! It is so cool to be able to connect with people working in brands that you only know about from so far away. Especially someone with so much history. We talked with him about how prevalent MAM is in some of the lolita media and how much dresses have gone for and he was surprised to hear about! It was cool :) I hope you are able to go back and visit again soon!

I wish they came in like every color of the rainbow because they're just too good! I aboslutuely need to get a pair ! At least the black x white... and sax x white ... and pink x white... and red x white... oh no ... lolol
