@@johanna9257 Glad I could help! Good luck on your journey and I hope you can study in Japan! Just in case you don’t know btw, most schools want you to apply a year in advance so that they can apply for your visa so just keep that in mind! 🤗✨

I'm currently in my junior year of high school in America, and I will be moving to Japan over the summer to do foreign exchange--full highschool experience and all. I'm quite worried about being rejected because I am a foreigner, have you had similar worries or issues in the past?

I'm currently studying in college in Japan where 99% of the students are Japanese and no one has rejected me for being a foreigner, so I don't think you have to worry! 🤗 Actually I noticed a lot of girls in my class were very excited to talk to me because they had not spoken with foreigners before in their life haha Another student in my class is from Myanmar and pretty much the whole class loves him I think you will have a great time as long as you are positive and have open body language (smile, make eye contact etc). I have realised that even if your Japanese level is low, as long as you seem friendly, smile and try your best, people will try to become friends with you! Good luck and if you have any questions about living in Japan just let me know! Btw, do you know where in Japan you will be doing your exchange?
