It really depends on your perspective and your chart. I was on my Mars AS line when I went off to college. Main benefit: I went from being a skinny 145 lb kid to a 170 lb, 10 % body fat man. I rollerbladed 8 miles round-trip to class almost everyday and worked as a martial arts instructor by the time I graduated. I got a lot of drive, ambition, sex, and positivity from being on that line.

One of the best and most exciting vacations of my life was exactly on a Mars line. I think that it must depend on your chart, but Mars lines are where things happen, where energy gets moving and most has been positive. What is different for me, however, is that my outlook on life is that I embrace challenges. Also, I have a lot of yin energy, so masculine Mars energy gives me balance.

im 32 years born and lived on my mars line in Gemini energy building our first home there its always an uphill battle. only place I travelled to is japan turns out that is on my mars line too LOL wasn't fun. I feel so much better here when I work out 15 mins a day and do weights like every thing is better I have SO much Neptune energy it amplifys that for me bad. I think I am fortunate to have a pretty good relationship with Mars. It is one of my chart rulers and it is conjunct my Venus natally. When I last visited a city on my Mars/Venus line it was my birthday (and also the day of a solar eclipse) and I had the most beautiful experience. I kept seeing my name pop up in different places, on the side of books in free libraries and on street signs.

Yes, definitely have to consider the sect day or night chart and if it is square or opposite or conjunct to other natal personal planets.. I lived on my mars line for many years and enjoyed it, but I have a night chart 🙏✨🌞🌙

I have a day chart and I like my mars MC line. My Mars has good aspects and it's in Capricorn. It's also balanced by other planetary energies like Uranus and Neptune MC

I was born and currently live on my MC mars line and it definitely can be frustrating lots of ups and downs…. but in my natal chart mars conjuct my MC and Sun in Virgo. Even though I have good aspects to mars I know for a fact I don’t want to leave the rest of my life or build a family on this line Lol but it has helped with health and staying active to get to my fitness goals. Every time I go to a Mars line I have so many problems, always with men. Huge drama and crazy, intense things happen to me and always with men. Last time I got in a fight with my sisters ex, got in a fight with a guy who threatened to send the Italian police to my house! also start smoking and feel more stressed. My mars line goes through Rome, Italy which is where my sister lives and I realized the less time I spend there the better. The longer I am there the more problems I get. It’s definitely a more physical line too. I met a guy who does thai boxing there and almost got into that, I defiantly felt inclined to. I have a day chart, interesting what you said about Jupiter. Can a Jupiter line make you a push over though and a people pleaser ?

I was born within a degree of my Mars ascendant line. Although I have a night chart, my Mars has several afflicting aspects. I also have my Sun in Aries. My family moved away when I was 2 months old but we were still within 5 degrees of my Mars ascendant. No surprise that I have had a temper all my life. Thank God for my Libra moon that added some diplomacy into my mixed bag. And there is my Neptune conjunct my MC giving me some intuitive abilities. I sometimes wonder why I chose the challenges of my planetary configuration. But I’m glad I discovered astrology and ACG to offer insights for me along the way. would you recommend living on a mars line when you have an Aries moon? I have been called to Barcelona and am in a stage of healing and hermit-ing for two years so I do feel ready to tackle things in life and want to make headway in my music career and physical fitness. I have, however, just been through so much spiritually physically and emotionally the past two years with a lot of continual illnesses so I was interested in moving somewhere where yes ill get things done but things will move fluidly. I understand its all about your perspective, mindset, and relationship with stress... I just am experiencing some jadedness at the moment. And don't currently have an apartment, job, visa, or anything in Spain set up or waiting for me so I do have some reservations about the fact its on a Mars line and I am going in with expectation things will fall into place......... seems a bit presumptuous... so I am considering just visiting to see how I intuitively feel there.

Ohhh nooo when I heard your honeymoon in Egypt I just laughed, I an Egyptian and the energy in general in cairo is super aggressive, my mars line is thankfully not there. I lived in Dahab as well and it’s beautiful, very different than Cairo.I’m heading to Peru on a solo adventurous journey, so excited but slightly worried that my mars line pass thru Cusco but this is where all the adventure is! 🙈 Ohhh... I had the same experience when I went to India for the whole of 9 months!!! I didn't know at the time, but found out many years later that a BIG fat red Mars line is going right through India (and no other lines for hundreds of kilometers each side!). It was fighting for my "life" and people trying to cross my boundaries all the time. It was extremely upsetting, and actually caused CPTSD to worsen. 🙉🙈🙄 It was NOT a relaxing trip to say at least. At home I am living RIGHT on my Pluto /IC line 🙈... It is good for going inward, processing, transformation and healing... And being alone. But it is NOT good for establishing healthy long lasting relationships apperently 🤕. Finally I plan on leaving in 3 month time... But haven't decided yet where to go, because it is NOT that simple 🙈 👉 almost all my good lines (Venus, jupiter, sun) are going either through the Sea, the north pole OR countries with war 🙉 (fx. Venus line cross the absolute wilderness in Findland, the Russian border, and then goes through Ukraine, the black Sea, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, the Sea again... And actually land on Madagascar!!! Which should be the only peaceful place 🤕🙉 but it's pretty expensive... And Africa is not really what I had in mind 😳) Ohhhhh what to do! 🤷‍♀️😁🙈

My actual life has always been on vacation on Venus Ds) My hometown is amazing but yeah...after many years of constant pressure and resurrection you always come back to where you began. Helena! 😂 I know this is an old video, but I'm just now watching it because I'm currently on my Mars Asc in Bangkok (like less than 1 degree in my relocated chart) and I needed to look up info on this line because I've been here now for 2.5 weeks and I'm finally feeling the rage!! The first week or so I was taking a course and just felt motivated, but I decided to stay after the course for a week and WOW. Talk about wanting to fight. 😂😂 Suuuuuper feisty and feeling ready for someone (creepy men mostly) to rub me the wrong way and ready to pounce! Also Bangkok is waaaayyy to busy and chaotic for my Valleys environment type, so that is not helping. I'm heading to Chiangmai on Sunday so fingers crossed for some lighter energy!

Its true people. I was born at a place during day with mars in taurus rising just 2 degrees later. I lived there for 27 yrs and always felt burnt, separate, no luck, irritated, hot, frustrated. Avoid mars line if you had mars in cancer, taurus, gemini, aquarius, pisces at time of birth. But regardless of any sign, just avoid mars, saturn, pluto and neptune lines on asc, dsc and ic. Mc may be ok for some time to get career success.

I’ve been living on my mars line for 5 years and it’s been a struggle. Ofc I had some positive experiences and moments but in general it was battle, fight, aggression. Everything comes with so much effort and challenges. Have no true friends or couldn’t get into a relationship longer than 2 weeks. I can see both sides of the coin when it comes to Mars line. I spent over a year on my Mars AS, line and had mixed results there... I mostly bumped heads with hypermasculine people, lost a lot of jobs, came to understand that hypermasculine people don't communicate properly. Above all the energy felt brittle and practically soulless there. And I'm a night chart person with Mercury as my ruling planet.

I'm so sorry about your terrible honeymoon nightmare! That's so unfair that you had to tolerate such disturbance from your fellow travelers. At least now, with distance, you can laugh about it. Re the Mars line, I have been working with an astrologer who suggested it as a good place for me to live because, despite having Mars in Aries, I have Saturn on my natal Pisces Sun, and I have difficulty taking action to move my life forward. I also tend to be under the influence of Neptune a lot--lost in a dream world and avoiding the material world. I also need more physical activity than I've been getting, so that aspect could be good for me. And my natal Mars is conjunct Mercury, and I'm a writer and teacher, so I'm hopeful that activating Mars could help me in that regard. Though I have a day chart, I have Jupiter in Gemini, so, from what I understand, my Jupiter line offers a mixed blessing. Still, when he recommended Mars to me, I had immediate doubts, for exactly the reasons you point out. Combativeness is in my nature, something I work to be aware of and rein in, and that could be activated on my Mars line. I am currently traveling in an area near my Mars line to scope it out, and fortunately, so far, I have not felt any anger or combativeness. I'll be in this general area, both nearer to and farther from the line, for a month, so I should be able to get a good sense of how it feels for me during this time. Fingers crossed that nothing awful happens! By the way, I looked at your appointments calendar, and your one-to-ones are booked out a year or two ahead! Wow--good for you! I should only be so successful in my own business!

i mean u really need to understand the individual chart if living on a mars line is good... ofcourse mars is the harshest planet in traditional astrology, but yogas, ascendant nature, etc will really tell you if you are going to do great or not. one quick tip is if mars is in leo, its a pretty good placement for mars line. (mars is yogakaraka being the lord of 9th(trikona) and 4th(kendra)) if all other factors agree

My Mars MC runs through my least favorite place I've ever been to: Oklahoma. It has become a joke that I have this weird unexplainable beef with Oklahoma, but I swear when I'm there I just feel angry and I hate everything and I want to get out ASAP. i just booked a trip to japan, right after astrocartoghraphy started poping up in my recommended so i looked into it, i have a mars IC line to the right of where I'm going, i don't think I'll ever be on top of it but its faiuly close. I have mars in virgo in the 1st house, I'm a night chart and my mars is in a t-square with jupiter and pluto/chiron, overall my chart is very heavy merury and communication energy and i don't feel like mars has been an overall negative placement for me but its hard not to worry a little seeing all this mars line stuff, if anybody winds up seeing this do you think this trip is a good idea? I've always wanted to go, oh and also i do struggle with overall motivation so my thought is maybe this will help but i would like some input if anybody has some to give!

For home, you’d want to be on or near your Jupiter IC or Venus IC. IC represents home/property, family, emotional state, and happiness so it would be best not to live on a Mars IC since mars represents vitality, aggression, anger etc. The Moon IC line is also pretty good you can feel a nurturing/healing and strong emotional connection to that location.

No. Not every day will be frustrating just because you're close to a mars line. Look at the chart. Look at the transits. A lot more to this than just what ACG line you're closest to. What does your natal Mars say? What paran are you on? I teach on this in all my courses and blog posts.

Nonsense! I've lived on a Mars line with a Mars ruled chart for 20+ years and I've conquered everything: projects, creativity, goals, dance, relationships, sex life. If you're a warrior and built to be a warrior, it's the IDEAL. Depends on many details of your chart, needs, elements, *transits, goals and constitution.

I agree! It depends on the chart. There's other things to consider in the natal chart itself. Also, transits. Lots to consider. My Mars is my hardest planet. Therefore, I hope to never return to a mars line.

I find Mars MC to be not as bad it directs the energy to work and career. I've had some disagreements but that's normal in life it's not everyday my Mars is aspected well and Mars is in Capricorn though can be a bit aggressive but not always. I also have have Mercury Uranus and Neptune MC to cool down the Mars as well

If people have Mars chart rulership and powerful Mars in their chart, then they may well conquer and rule on a Mars line. Let's look at the chart of Bruce Lee for example, with serious martial power... now I'm curious to look at his cartography lines...

How do you know if you have a night or day chart? Also, I’m a Scorpio, and was told that there was beneficial transits (also with Rahu/Ketu) if I moved to a state where Mars is on my ascendant..

Hi Helena, I have a day chart and my most negative planets are definitely Jupiter and Venus. In fact this is not how we choose which planet is the most detrimental for us. having said that I have spent 5 years in my Mars line and it had been hard but I loved it. I am now in my Nodes/Moon/Chiron lines and here I am definitely in hell.

Does having a Mars IC right next to your North Node line make it impossible to find your destiny? Because there are so many other positive lines near my birthplace and I want to visit it, but not if Mars will ruin everything. I do have lots of Scorpio placements, so I'm good with Scorpio energy (have a Pisces moon as well), so maybe I'd be fine to visit?

it doesn't matter what your sun sign is. You need to look at your map/parans/relocated chart, all of it to make a decision. I'll be making more videos sharing more details in the new year.

This video is a mess. First of all, AC doesn't have anything with external factors but internal on a way how people percieve you and how you feel. So, talking about boat trip with drunk Aussies is just result of bad and typical tourist trap you took for a honey moon.. unfortunatelly.

You've got that right. This person doens't have a good grip on how astrocartography even works. And they did not even mention importance of aspects. If someone had a lot of harmonious aspects near their mars line that will make a bif difference. And also where mars in in the relocated chart matters a lot.
