I have seven children, had my first at 24 yrs old, and my last at 41, I'm now 63 and my baby is 22. At the time I felt forty was old, but not now, my youngest career is a Fashion Stylist, we talk fashion all the time, she keeps me young at heart, to be honest I don't feel 63, I exercise and eat right and enjoy being around my adult children they keep me youthful. You look good, may you continue to be blessed throughout the rest of your pregnancy.

@@lyfisbeautiful8412 naturally, me and my husband had our first baby in 2005 with a ivf,that was because the doctors said I couldn’t carry so we tried the ivf and it was a success fast forward 15 years later I take a test and surprise I’m pregnant, I was in disbelief so I took five more to make sure they were all positive One of the happiest days of my life.

Those kids you claim would 'wish for younger parents' (with no evidence) wouldn't exist if their parents had been younger. The egg and sperm would have been different, resulting in a different human being. Do you wish the kids of people in their 40s had never been born? Cause that's essentially (in a dramatic way) what your comment actually means. I also hope your ire towards 'older' parents is just as strong for the men who father kids when they're 70?

I’m 42 and pregnant with my first via IVF and donor sperm. I’m single and have a good career. I thought that I would marry and start a family with a husband but that’s not God’s plan for me. I plan to have a second child as well. Being 40+ an having a baby isn’t a negative thing at all. It’s about mindset and health. I’m thinking about starting a channel to celebrate older moms.

I've been getting negative responses though when I announced my pregnancy mostly about my age and the amount of children I have but the funny thing is no one takes care of my children but me and my husband soooo🤷🏽‍♀️

41 pregnant for first time. We both was told we can't have children so we wasn't worried about protection lol well 3 years later I was in for a regular checkup and I said I'm about 23 days late which is normal for me BTW I told the nurse to go ahead and do a pregnancy test I'm sure it's nothing but I was asking for new meds and wanted to make sure you know. She came back and said positive and we was like your pulling our leg lol. Surprise. Then they did and ultrasound said it was super early like 5-6 weeks. I'm still in denial. I was already accepting my fate to never be a mom and I'm high risk so taking it day by day. Just hope I can keep up. I was planning on getting healthier before I got pregnant so I guess it's my push to keep going. It's definitely a blessing but I'm still in shock.

First Congrats!!!! Yes, I thought I was the only one having babies "late" in life. Tanielle here your name twin, Soo happy for you. I'm 46 and have a 3 year old, yes 3 year old. My pregnancy was good, the only problem was my Thyroid, I lost about 20lbs during. Baby was fine, I was just getting smaller. You could say, I was all baby, lol. I also have a 26, 18, 12 and 3 year old, all girls. My 18 and 12 year old helps me out soo well with the baby. Spoiled Rotten, lol. I found that we're happier, fun, energetic and have a lot more patience. She keeps us going and we love it. Congrats again, Tanielle.. Love, Tanielle.

I've never had the desire to have children, nor have I tried to have children, until recently. Out of nowhere, I suddenly have the desire to have at least one child. I'm terrified to start trying, though, because of my age. I know that many women have had healthy babies after 40, but it wasn't their first time giving birth. I'm praying about what to do. Funny I’m considering ttc as well.. recently married but I am too older.. 39 in February my partner is 44 but he wants a child only have one. I have two girls that’s 21/17 years old.. so mentally/physically preparing myself for this & tbh I’m excited & preparing my body overall.. taking prenatals, progesterone, watching and testing ovulation etc.. so hopefully this happens soon I never had to do any of these things before so it’s a bit exhausting.. sending baby dust ur way 🤞🏽🤞🏽💦

This was a great video!! I had so many emotions about being pregnant at 39. I had my daughter may 9. I went through a full blown depression after I had her. So much anxiety because my age. My older kids are 14 and 12 and the thought of starting over terrified me because I was not financially ready nor have I done all the things I wanted to do. I am 39 with a 14,12 and 2 month old. The great thing about having older kids is they help me out a lot while still being kids and enjoying teenage things. Lots of praying has been going on because lord knows I need it. I also don’t have a support family system so that makes it even harder. I feel as women and mothers we just do whatever needs to be done even on rough days

On a brighter note, given the increase of women having babies in their late 30s and 40s, you most likely won't be the only 60 year old mom at your child's graduation 😉 It might actually start being the norm.

And a lot of people from Gen Z and Generation Alpha will be screwed if that becomes the norm. They'll all be robbed of proper starts to their adults lives if they get hit with caregiving early on and they'll be forced to go through the tragedy of losing their older parents as young adults.

@@finchborat True however, people are living longer and healthier lives compared to older generations. The 60/70 year old is not the same 60/70 year old from 30 years ago. I’m an 80’s babies so I know. There’s also been an increase in parents outliving their children. Bottom line, life is unpredictable so just live it without worrying what will happen tomorrow. 😊

@@candiced2138 It wasn't the case with me. For my mom, 60 wasn't the new 40. 60 ended up being 60. She's 71 and I feel like I'm taking care of a 91 yr old. Plus, my late dad had back and shoulder issues starting when I was born. He was 43 when I was born. Early caregiving is more damaging to livelihoods than you think.

@@finchborat 60 is definitely not the new 40 lol however plenty of 70 year olds do not need an active caregiver. They drive, travel and are living a full life. My neighbors are 80 and they get along just fine. They do yard work, take dance classes, do their own shopping, etc. I think it depends on how well you take care of yourself during your youthful years physically and financially that will determine the life you’ll have your golden years.

I just had my first baby at the age of 38 a baby girl and i really enjoy her. I had one miscarriage at 17 weeks when i was 31. And one abortion at 13 because i was so scared and didnt tell anyone but my cousin. So now i really want more im already back trying because i dont know how much time i have left but i will accept how ever many the Lord blesses me with. You have a blesed fun life. IMO, I think this child is going to most benefit from your age and wisdom. My mom had me at 39 and while I did notice that my mom was older, for the most part the difference I noticed was thay my mom didn't try to dress my age or follow trends. lol Not that all young mothers do that, I was just glad that mine didn't whereas I noticed that the mom's of other girls in my class definitely did.

LOL. You are very correct in your thinking. I did take birth control for a short period; one of my lovely babies was a birth control baby. The others were not. I believe what I said, or at least meant to convey, is that I always thought I would be done having all my kids by 30. You know we make 5-year plans as kids and young adults, and I thought I would have 6 kids and be done by 30, but the universe had bigger and better plans for me! We can make plans all day long, but sometimes God laughs at our plans. I never in a million years thought I would have 12 kids and have my last child at 40. So while I didn't physically prevent this from happening, I didn't plan on it happening. Lots of women don't take birth control and don't get pregnant. 🙁 I hope this clarifies what I meant by that statement. Thanks for watching, and thanks for asking. I didn't perceive your question as negative at all. Believe me, I get that question a lot when I tell people I am done having kids, and they immediately ask me are my tubes tied. 😅
