These are just my opinions from my experiences living in Canada and interacting with Indians. Correct me if I’m wrong or ignorant in any way.
On this channel, I talk about a lot of my experiences here in Canada. I also talk about universities and much more. I’m also a filmmaker and entrepreneur.

I just found your channel and I've watched a couple of your videos. I totally agree on this one. Butter chicken and Indian food in general is great. I'm from Mexico and while I was living in Vancouver I really enjoyed Indian food. Punjabi people as you said are very friendly intelligent and energetic. I will continue to watch your videos. You seem like a very outspoken and truly at heart about knowing about other cultures and even though there is less racism in canada. I used to live on 61st & Fraser in Van City. Little India for sure. Our landlord was Indian. I lived in a house with an Indian couple for a while. He was a dreadlock rasta guitarist, born & raised in Uganda, & she was born & raised in Nairobi, Kenya - 2 indo-afrikans! A Jamaican singer/percussionist, an American bassist & an Estonian keyboardist also lived in our big house. We were the city's premiere reggae band at the time. I ate at more Indian buffets on Main St than most Indians lol, & got along great with my Indian roommates (best ever) & my predominantly Sikh neighbors. That was my first real introduction to Indian culture. I even had an Indian gf for a while up there. Canada's very multicultural, especially in the biggest cities. Indians are smart, organized & very business oriented. The world can learn a lot from them, culturally, gastronomically, & spiritually. I know I did. In fact, it's what I miss most about Van City. That & mountain biking through UBC endowment lands down to the beaches. BlessUP my Nigerian brotha, & good luck with your studies.

The best part of going to school in North America is the exchange of culture. I have so many friends from so many cultures. African and Indians are very similar in culture and family values. I have friends from Sudan, Ethiopia, Nigeria and Kenya - all amazing and hard working people. So the feeling is mutual.

Not only do we see a buildup of community from Indian immigrants, we see it from Hispanic communities, are there Asian communities and more. Unfortunately, this does not apply two immigrants from all portions of the black diaspora weather coming from Africa the Caribbean or elsewhere- it's usually working for the individual cell for family, or sometimes we lack the full knowledge of the quote unquote climbing of the social ladder an end up trying to assimilate to the current black culture here without the prior knowledge of how the system here is so intricately designed to be anti-black. what I've also noticed is that there's not this Collective mindset of helping to build other Africans when it comes to business, education, Etc-- complete prior trust has to be built. but this is just from my Experiences. If you go deep into the Indian civilization and culture - you will run into philosophy ( the Greeks and Roman's are not the father of European philosophy) they are the father of European philosophy. But just imagine KFC is just making very few varieties of chicken In India ..we make chicken in so many unique varieties which are a lot cheaper and more tastier .. ex.butter chicken or chicken tikka masala .. We had a lot vairty if.spices and mixties which make food more tastier and in more healthier way .. The food in Canada is not Indian food, but Punjabi food. There is nothing called indian food per sey. All the restaurants in Canada called 'Indian food' are actually Punjabi food. Bro, if i say things like this, dem people come at me. Black middle class communities do not exist, It's the exact same in England, my indian and pakistani brothers i salute you, (Chinese and jewish communities are like this too)they have set up for themselves in this country, and all the kids do well have great jobs and homes. When an African does well, they pack their bags from the "black neighbourhood" and move to be the only black in a white area. No shade, but we have a very individualistic mindset, we grew up with "competition" hammered into our skull, beat the others so they can look at you. Hence we don't think in terms of community. Not that i blame us at times, people can be selfish and unappreciative. This attribute is holding us back.

Ya as u said India is a diverse country having many cultures and languages.For example languages like Hindi,Punjabi,Tamil,Malayalam,Kannada,Telugu,bengali and few more.Those wealthy people you were mentioning probably be Punjabis because they have been there in Canada for many years so had a wealthy background by now.Myself I'm an Indian from Kerela state and so my mother tongue is Malayalam.

If you are looking to connect with more Nigerians, Nigerian events, food, etc. you should move to Toronto or any place in the GTA. Everything you are looking for in the Indian community we have them over here as well! Im glad your experiences with Indians have been great so far. Im Nigerian Canadian and Ive lived in Brampton (highest population of Indians in Canada) for 20 years. While Ive met some kind Indians, most are racist towards black people and do not associate themselves with us. I love their food and culture as well but it’s difficult for us to support their businesses when they do not like us very much lol

So I'm a Nigerian studying in India. I have a lot of things to say about Indians..tbh, both positive and negative things but the truth is, in life we will defintely have positive and negative things to say about people..good and bad experiences. But I'll keep it simple. Indians are truly amazing people. Coming to India hasn't only been an eye opener but it has been a blessing. They genuinely care for the people around them and the love they give is amazing. And if you're a foreigner in India and you haven't tried butter chicken and butter naan, what are you waiting for???? Oh, add Hyderabadi Biryani to the list (make sure to try this in Hyderabad because I heard it isn't as good in other cities as it is in Hyderabad)😍💕💕

I really wish Africans would study their history before stepping out into the world. The Indian people have always been placed as a buffer class between Africans and whites, and have played a role in black oppression. This happened in Kenya, Uganda, S.
