Maryjane, I live in Washington, D.C. It’s an international city, and as you probably know, many people from all over the world live here. I love frequenting the many restaurants that reflect the cuisines from different parts of the world. I must say that the restaurants owned by Afghani ex-pats are probably some of the best I frequent. The food is always delicious and magnificently prepared, but the service the staff gives to its patrons is unbelievably gracious and very friendly.

While I agree with this statment... do you not remember the entire country on airstrip literally jumping on planes that were taking off when the taliban took over? There is a reason people were in so much fear. There is no doubt the afghan people are beautiful just as any people are. There gov doesn't define the entire population but I think it's dangerous for her to soften the view on the taliban. Woman can't even continue education. They tore down pictures at womans salons and probably the entire solar, just as they blew the movie theater up. They think God wouldn't want humans to have any fun experience. A movie? They use to not be able to fly kites. God wants humanity to be happy and thrive while having empathy for others and forgiving. It seems it's something they don't hace is empathy for others

Plz don't be fooled by the media especially West who have an agenda, it's the same for all women, afgan people are Muslim so they follow Islamic law, which mandate men to lower their gaze and women to cover, if both parties play their parts then you won't have objectification of women. The people are very traditional with traditional roles and values for both men and women. This was the same case in West but a bunch of men wanted women to join the work force so they can be taxed (thats how feminism came to be ), women is West I advise that you do a deep dive into feminism and how it really started.
