I am from Uzbekistan, my Grandpa told us the stories about how people saved the life of scholars Ulamas, people sacrificed themselves saying I am that person take me, I am this person take when Soviet NKVD soldiers came to take ulama from their home. So Soviet KGB soldiers did not realize that they were taking the wrong person. Fortunately, very few Ulama's life saved that way.
