Peppers like to be moist soil FYI. Great job so far. Doing barrier style can help with weeds.

Ya I've been watering them I think the clay is messing with them the containers and side garden are doing OK and I'm actually thinking about doing that next year.

In in south central ms, in hard clay you’ll find cages to be tedious and not strong enough for repeat use on tomato’s switched to t post and Florida weave.

We have actually been talking about it for next year after I get everything amended and going good. This is the first year we have been in this plot so I have alot of room to improve. Thanks for the tip tho. I am trying to figure out how to improve the clay alot tho?

@@CartersGardens I would start simple and try adding local top soil or compost will take time especially dealing how bad the erosion is
@CartersGardens7 ай бұрын
@ImBransolo erosions not bad at the top side of the main garden. Once I expand it could be an issue. I was told in t town they sell truck loads of compost for a decent price I'm thinking of spreading it and tilling it in in the fall

UK me and the wife have discussed it and are really thinking about it. I've been using grass clips so I can till them in and the end of season.
