The only push back she got was Ken and Shake's close friend at the hospital who happens to be gay as well..she even gets the privilege of being the only one who can see Ken after his death..where she continues to pretend they're together ..and only when Ken mentions Shake does she snap out of it and mentions the wishing tree...the worst character ever 😡smh😒

@@jaguy4u2 I enjoyed the episode somewhat but I'm full of anger at Ken's mom and especially at Sandee for what they did. Sandee most of all. I mean just to stand there with this I didn't do anything wrong look on her face is so upsetting to me. I think those two friends should have yelled at her more and try their best to make her feel as low as dirt.

The love story of Ken and Shake was sweet and tender but ultimately tragic. A special kudos for Lawrence, Ken's younger brother. They would still be alive were it not for Sandee telling Ken's mother about them and her telling them to return from the country retreat because she had discovered they were gay. The story itself was very well told, the acting was terrific and the OST was beautifully written with an especially lovely theme song. I look forward to the forthcoming new series mentioned after the end credits.

I have very mixed feelings towards this show. On the surface, there's a really good story here. I just feel like there wasn't enough time spent developing Ken/Shake's relationship for me to truly get invested in it or them. That being said, story-wise this is my favourite episode. The mom's meltdown, her realization and acceptance and especially what she did for Shake despite her hurt and confusion just brought everything together. And, even though it's in the afterlife, at least they got their 'happy ending'. It's just unfortunate that Shake seems to have gotten the short end of the stick in every facet of his life on earth.

I mean I don't need them to make it only about the gay couple for it to be a BL but they should at least get the majority of the focus and development. I think they were focusing more on emotions and message across the series. Yes, Shake and Ken were the main points of this show, but the main thing about this show is the MESSAGE about how you should love no matter what and that anything can happen in the next instant. That's how I view it. I thought the series were excellent with each meaning and emotion and all that. I understood it well. @VampireMadonna, it may say BL, but I believe they labelled that because of LGBT+ community so that those people who liked watching LGBT+/BL shows would discover this. Know what I mean? I wouldn't have known about this but I noticed it was about two boys who loved each other, but I did not expect to have such messages across the series .... wow. it really made me feel ..... like whoa.

They're not Even the main characters in the first arc,a d while I the secondary arc, they get more focus....they're still more Secondary characters than primary characters given how short the series is, and so on...there are entire episodes where neither of then appear...or if they do, they're a launch lad for the other characters plots... You could literally replace them with a pair of robots saying the same lines, and it wouldn't really change the delivery or interactions between the other characters...

Well, that's not all true. She might've reacted the same with a girl too. Some mothers in law are scary like that. They get jealous of their sons, and treat their daughters in law like crap. They make them fight and make their sons buy them the same presents they buy their wives. Hell, my friend's mother in law makes her son sleep with her whenever she is visiting... so freaking weird. And my other neighbor (her sons lived out of the country) when she came to visit and saw how their treated their wives got jealous and told them both to abandon their families. Except the older was smarter and then later brought his wife back and apologized to her, but the second son abandoned his child and wife on the freaking streets. She is ok now.

This show gave me so many feels. It seemed so breezy in the beginning, but the that light touch skimmed the surface of hidden depths. The writers, directors and actors used such a delicate perspective to tell this story. It was Shakespearean. It moved me. It was tragic and beautiful. And the stark message at the end brought it home: What really killed them and their love and their future was homophobia. Yes, people can change and yes people can make mistakes but flat out, Sandee and Ken's mom killed them. And I do feel bad for them because their understanding came too late. But...Ken and Shake had to live their last moments in life filled with fear and panic, on the same day they felt their first blossoming of true love. It's a crime. If there truly was penance for that sin, both Sandee and Ken's mom would devote themselves to promoting equity and inclusion. I can't get past how angry and torn I am. What a great great show.

Oh wow! This was so beautifully well done. It's more than a story. It's a lesson that we all have to learn. Many different lessons. One is right at the end with the only thing wrong about being gay is how people treat you when they find out. Also, and this ties into that statement as well, it's all about acceptance. Not too many people can accept it. Parents don't want to see their child gay. They accept them marrying a woman or a man, raising a family. I loved this series. It was fresh and new and just wonderful. Thank you AsterisK for creating this and looking forward to My Extraordinary: A Kiss 2 Remember coming soon. I was holding back from crying the whole episode. But when Ken's mom said she claimed Shake's ashes when no one else would so that Ken and Shake could be back together, I lost it. I don't like sad endings with main characters dying but this was so realistic and so beautifully done. The avting was on point with everyone in every scene. Congrats to the cast and crew for making such an amazing and touching show❤

I have great people in my life that embraced me more for being truthful. I think this series speaks to all families and friends of the lgbtq+ community (or for anyone really)... Show compassion to the people you love regardless of whom they choose to love. Tomorrow is NOT guaranteed. Show your love TODAY instead of showing it to their urns or cemetery plots.
