There was about 4 different cakes going of but multiple of each cake were shot. There was 9 bad reasons which was the big color breaks higher in the sky. There there were 2 different 200 gram color and TK cakes. And 1 big 100 shot TK cake as well.

Wow! That was one crazy fireworks show. I missed it when the neighbors were setting off fireworks like crazy. Nice colors, and nice displays. When I was a kid, I was freaked out when the neighbors were set them off and it was loud. Loud cracklings, whistles, and bangs. The most powerful device is the M80’s. That was super loud and it was louder than an atomic bomb.

Big T Pyro Well you Did an amazing job my show got rained on it was more than rain it was a flood Half of my show didn’t go off because the fuses got wet but I guess it happens to all of us it was still a pretty decent show even though half my stuff didn’t go off

I find whats most important and seemingly difficult thing to do especially in 1.4 show is to mix up effects. With a long show you run the risk of boring the crowd and yourself for that matter, but you did a good job of mixing it up.

Thanks a lot. I was hoping to do way better than last year where I had to many ups and downs and black sky throughout my show. I think the extra year of experience helped me make some changes for the better and I think it turned out great. Glad you enjoyed it!

I bought them from many stores and sources of fireworks that you won't typically find in a firework store.

Shoot, this is so much better than the so-called "professional" shows around here, which last MAYBE 10 minutes. It seems our fair city isn't willing to shell out too much for a decent show. I shutter to think of all that trash you had to get rid of afterwards; I've always wondered how that is handled. Does the city have a special pick up just for fireworks trash? Nice show, even if I am watching it a year later lol

Well with all that I shot which was only consumer products was about $4000 and 2 days of setup. This can be easily done for a city display as long as you had some open field so all could see it as these don't go as high as professional displays shells do. And I shot this on my family's property and the family helped me clean up the mess the next day when we can see all the debris and burn all the cakes in a burn barrel. Well just remember I will be doing a similar size show this 4th of July again so stay tuned if you enjoyed this one.

What are those first fireworks called in the video that go side to side??

Those would be zipper cakes as they zip across side to side firing typically smaller inserts compared to a big 500 cake but they tend to have 100 -700 shots in them. The good ones fire quickly with nice long lasting effects. The only down fall is these a very labor intensive in construction in China so they tend to cost a bit more than your normal 500 gram cake.

I always see mixed shows and I did the same for many years. This year, I wanted to see a mass launch of every case I shot to see what half or all of the case would look like! And it turned out to be a blast!

My sound options dropped off the week of so I built just a mass launch display instead. I tried to pace myself this year and get at least a 15 minute display but the DH 100 shot and cats in the cupboard took longer than expected so it turned out to be about 18 minutes which I was happy with. That's how I felt this year. I spent 2 days setting this up and to finish minutes before show time almost makes it fell not worth it all. Then I shoot the show and have every kid with there parents thank me for the display makes it all worth it!

Beautiful show. Just a suggestion for next time. It'll really rock the house if you have some good 4th of July music. Some real American to the heart music. Not so loud but just enough that'll go with your fireworks show.

That is my goal for next year. The 2 issues I have is I do not have a good sound system to do what I want to do and the copyright restrictions on KZbin by the music artist prevents some songs from being included in a video as KZbin will not allow me to even release the video with no ads due to copyright restrictions preventing me from doing so..

Very Nice! Loved that red lace section. Thumbs Up! How far apart are your firing stations? Was that one 100-shot that started before the Z cake, or another 100-shot thrown in?

You are the only comment so far that did catch the 2 minute long 100 shot towards the end. The field I shot on was only about 110 feet apart and i shoot on the right side of the field to stay away from the neighbors houses. So the left to right spread was about 50 feet apart and the middle station was in the middle of the right and left stations. Glad you enjoyed it G Jam!
