Judd Apatow produces or directs MANYYYY of the better comedies from like 04 up until like pretty recently even with "The Big Sick". He also is partially responsible for the television show "Freaks and Geeks" in '99, which is amazing and stars a lot of the people that continue to be in his movies to this day. He catches hate because people love to hate comedies, but he is definitely a big name in the comedy movie world.

About the desert hatch in the beginning, one of my best friend's coworker stumbled on a hatch under a floorboard in a house with no furniture in the middle of f*cking nowhere in the California desert. He climbed down the sub type stairs and there was a big tunnel with monorail type rails (maglev-magnetic levitation) and a sign indicating miles to different locations including ones in Nevada. I grew up next to a Marine base and a Navy Officer told a friend and I at bar in the 90's that there's underground bases across the U.S. and especially big ones in the Western half called DUMBS (Deep Underground Military Bases) with maglev railways connecting them. Now lots of people have come forward about the DUMBS.

Apatow's "Get Him To The Greek" is just as good, or even better imo!!! Right up there with his very best, "Superbad"! It's "prequel", "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" is excellent as well! Many of same players in all his productions! See ya! ☁️ 😎👌 ✌🌎❤

My fave of his after Get Him To The Greek & & Forgetting Sarah Marshall (in that order) is "Walk Hard." It IS a Masterpiece! BUT ONLY IF YOU GET ALL THE INSIDE JOKES!!! I don't recommend that one unless you're prepared to do a DEEEP dive into history of American pop music from 1950's-'70's beforehand! I've seen it a dozen times & still discover new gems! Just realized last view his voice is mannered after David Alan Coe!😅 Blew my mind! Btw, I personally think "Jackie Brown" was better!✌😎
