@@jxlswe249 the ultimate is really good, but one con that I’ve been running into a little is sometimes if you press too many of the back button at the same time one or 2 of them will glitch and keep pressing. (Mainly happens on apex for me) the click of the face buttons and top are amazing, wish all the buttons were like that.

If you rough mask your skin and use the color tab in your software then look at the lumetri scopes it should give you the exact area skin should be at then you adjust the color curves on the reds mainly oranges then maybe yellows accordingly… you can then remove the mask after alighting the colors with the lumetri marker But it doesn’t look bad. I’d say add a fill light and kicker literally can buy clamp lights and hang them and diffuse them to change the quality of light. Your vid’s are awesome regardless thank you

Im still rocking my tb recon. Its brilliant for 50bucks. All the features i wanted That were not ideal on other third party or elite series pad. The audio and monitoring functions combined with the perfect extra back buttons(literally perfect position and feel). Top it off the sticks are identical to xbox stock size. I know you didnt wana rev or buy it tho last time i mentioned it. Peace.

I believe people always underestimate proper soldering. They watch one video go to Walmart buy a $10 soldering iron and some random coil and just glob it on but just like full scale welding there is a lot more to the prep and process than expected and your tools and materials quality do very much matter in these applications.

Mad Catz C.A.T. 7 is a 6-button like the V2 Chroma for like $60. Thls controller hasn't gotten a real critique yet, to my knowledge, maybe that's something you'd be interested in evaluating. Thanks to your reviews I went with a PowerA and I'm very happy with it so far. Hopefully a an affordable controller with underside buttons and extra front buttons comes along, maybe the C.A.T. 7 is it but it seems a little too good to be true at its pricepoint.

Do the Victrix. It's a solid controller. It feels cheep, but that's because it is. But what you get is solid performance out it. On a side note it was good to see Razer come through with the deadzone fix for the V2 chroma. It's worth it now.

Just to clarify, I'm pretty sure the reason those solder points on the ribbon cables are so small is because the actual test points on the PCB that they solder to are very, very small. A smaller soldering iron with a narrow, sharp point tip makes it a lot easier. (e.g. Miniware TS80/TS100)

It's what I like to call "gamer tax." Gaming Peripherals & accessories can be sold at insane prices simply because gamers are willing to fork over large amounts of cash for them. If people are willing to pay for a product, the product will be produced and sold no matter how terrible it is for the price. Hell, there are a ton of food companies out there who sell cancerous products, but since people buy it and it isn't illegal to sell, they'll keep selling it!

Short story im not a fan and now im saving to make an xbox version with the hope kit. If you have never soldered before definitely don't start on your controller. Get an old crappy router or some such and start practicing on. Use flux, keep your tip clean and watch some tutorials.

I'd say the Chroma for Ultimate gaming performance. The pro 2 is good as well, but powera Controllers both won't last as long as razers, and it isn't going to be as sweaty with its 4 Paddle design. The 6 buttons on the Chroma and Ultimate are next level. But the Fusion isn't a bad option either, especially if you aren't trying to break the bank

for all of you who struggle with soldering: get LEADED solder and some tacky flux (you will not get lead poisoning or any shit like that so stop using lead-free). leaded solder has a lower melting point so you won't have to fry your board. pre-tin the solder pads or whatever you're putting solder on. please use flux. the small amount of rosin core inside the solder wire is almost never enough to keep it flowing correctly and keeping the joints from forming spikes. more flux is always good, just make sure to clean it up when you're done with some IPA. psa- do not use a flux pen. they are ass. use a type that comes in a syringe or a container. flux pens do not put anywhere near enough flux onto a surface. they will only frustrate you and make the project take longer to complete. if you're soldering a flex pcb like the ones shown in this video, make sure to hold the flex pcb flush with the main pcb until the solder solidifies. if it's too hot for your fingers or whatever, use a small amount of tape to hold it down. once it's solid, remove the tape. still having trouble? you need to put the iron on the pad and pin at the same time. solder will not wet onto a metal surface unless it's corrosion free (use flux) AND the metal surface is at the appropriate temperature. if you only put your iron on one of the pads your soldering, then the other pad or pin will not get a connection. this is a cold solder joint. so it may look like it's properly soldered but it isn't. hope this helps.

Hello vCuda, just found your channel. If you or anyone else by chance spot this comment I am looking for some advice regarding replacing my current primary controller which is the original xbox elite controller. My current issues with the elite controller that I would need a new controller to solve. 1 - The faulty bumper design. After the original plastic bumpers broke, I have had to replace the bumpers with lower quality third party bumpers from amazon. Its good that sellers include 3 or 5 sets of bumpers per order because my bumpers break every couple weeks. I am sick and tired of opening my controller over and over again to replace the bumpers. 2 - The lack of a recessed usb connection. After regular use , If I so much as wiggle the controller it will loose connection briefly. I also cannot use the controller with usb cables longer than 3 feet or so, otherwise it wont even be detected. An integrated cable, or a recessed port are a must for longevity. 3 - I would love to have analog sticks with a tighter center value. I have to run rather large deadzones in order to ensure the analog stick stays deactivated when im not moving it. However the 2 most essential things I would need a replacement to still offer would be the following. 1 - A similar design for paddles/buttons on the back of the controller to the elite controller. I own a Razer Wolverine Ultimate, and while I enjoy the tighter analog sticks the rear buttons are completely un-usable for my needs. The elite paddles work wonderfully in allowing me to comfortably activate them with my ring fingers without needing to reposition my hands. Do note that I only use two paddles and never have all 4 hooked up. 2 - Bumpers that are easy to rapidly double tap. I very heavily use my bumpers in most games. I push them hard and fast.

You can't even fully customize all the performance options for that much. An aim ps5 with Paddles, clicky triggers and whatever other Pro Controller options they have is 220. That excludes ALL aesthetic Customization. An actually Pro Controller would be a better option at that lower price point
