Awwww it’s been a pretty pants year all around hasn’t it? I never even thought of bird flu repercussions for you guys in the UK, which is just an extra complication. I’ve been wondering how things have been with you guys, since we haven’t heard from you for a while. Sorry to hear the last place didn’t work out but Cumbria is a lovely area, so there’s that at least. There’s some great places to fly your birds(when things have settled down) in the borders. Congrats as well on incubating your own egg :) Here’s hoping next year works out better for everyone.

I absolutely love learning about your birds. Cable is my favorite since when my mother and I had s small ranch in the Nevada desert in America a pair of Ravens would return every year to hatch and raise their young in our massive pine trees. They would drink the water and sit on the cool soils around the trees in the heat. We developed quite a friendship with them. They could tell my mother and I apart and would purr when we gave them treats. I sure miss them as I moved. Ravens are amazing birds.
